BF4 is plagued with too many snipers, I'm sure everyone will agree. In this video I attempt to show that one well placed sniper can control the opposing teams sniper forces, and hopefully keep the game a little more enjoyable for your team. You should always try to play the objectives...camping does not usually help your team, and this is a team game. Played right, the Recon class can be very effective at attacking the objectives, and that is how I like to play most of the time. This video is NOT how I normally play the game.
Test footage utilizing my new Asus GTX 770 and the shadowplay video capture that is included with this card. So far I am really liking how it works and the video it returns is high quality. I have had some issues however, rendering and editing the files. Going to take a bit to figure out the best setting to make video editing in the future easier.

Im a good sniper as well, but I play on bf3 cus I never liked bf4 and I don't feel like paying for it now. Yesterday I was in Op Firestorm and was shooting 700m+ with the SV98. The one thing that kills me is getting a hitmarker or seeing the blood splat in hardcore (bodyshots) from that range, them running away and you getting an assist a few seconds later. I think all bolt actions should be 1 shot kill. Its not because I can't get headshots, its that in bf3, most of the time you only have 1sec to shoot someone and half the time they are sprinting (no one really sits down and camps or sniper in bf3 anymore). Anyway, its good to see you back and hope to see more videos, always loved your content because im a sniper at heart (tho im only 19), something about hitting a target from stupid long range or having to wait and watch your bullet go downrange is just exciting to me. TL:DR I'm glad your back and love you videos.

Good to see you back mate! I was waiting for your BF4 videos! please do a BF4 Sniper school series. I am a pretty good sniper but watching your videos always helps.

I rarely play BF4. But I'm positive I found you in game before. I remember thinking, 'holy crap someone here actually is being an effective sniper'.

I'm not effective all the time. Some days you just can't kill anything. The real key is to swap classes depending on what your team needs. Everyone falling down around you? grab a medic kit. Long walk to the objectives? grab the recon and place a beacon. Need to counter mortars? Go support and mortar snipe. Getting killed by helicopters? grab one of the most ineffective weapons in the game....the stinger missile and try to counter.

clan members can be such a pain in the ass. Experienced that a lot when I had a blast in a jet in Battlefield 3.

YES!!!!!! i was wondering when you were going to make more videos about Battlefield. ive been watching your videos since 2006! i learned alot from your BF2 sniper school and those BF3 videos. is there any hints to BF4 sniper school? i play on ps3 but thinking of transferring over to PC. YOU ROCK RYAN! keep taking them to school and keep the vids coming.

dirtyone89 Best hint so far...pick one rifle setup you like and stick with it. become a master of one rifle and you will dominate from a sniping perspective. Most of the rifles are on equal ground when it comes to the ability to damage models. The big difference comes from bullet velocities, which is where the SRR61 and M98B shine. My favorite setups SRR61+Flash hider+40X+Variable+straight pull = for long range. M98B+suppressor+3.4X+straightpull = for stealth M39+suppressor+bipod+ACOG = CQC

Most of the time long range sniping is boring. But when you connect with a long range moving target....its something magical! Thats why I try to push more for team play and attacking the objectives.

lol not busting your chops but snipers are actually meant to camp n take out targets..i do this most of the time n get good feedback for my work n keeping the enemy team back twards their spawn...

+Davon Corrie There is a lot of negative press towards gaming snipers in general. I try to show some tactics that will help people play the kit more effectively for their team. An ace sniper hanging back is a good thing. 6 snipers hanging back is a poor use of resources, especially when those snipers are average to poor. Use of VOIP to communicate with your squad to feed good information to them, will greatly increase their effectiveness. Lone wolves who remain silent and only try to pick off long range targets do not add much to the battle field. Its often difficult to quantify, but the real question is how effective are you for your team. Based on your statement I would suggest that your actions are helping the team, thus you get complimented for them. However I would suggest that this is the exception and not the rule when it comes to people choosing to play the sniper kit.

Good point...i do agree on the 6 sniper thing lol me personally i usually clear the area (mcoms, flag etc) so my team can cap them...im a perm sniper lol i literally only snipe but i see your point

I missed you playing Battlefield. Good that you have another video for us :) You will have time to produce more sniping videos in the coming weeks? Maybe sniping on all other maps like gulf of oman, siege of shanghai, etc. that are good for long range sniping or just sniping from all the different carriers on different maps.

I'm a slave to work lately, and my creative juices are being sucked out of me. I get home and don't want to sit and work on projects like this. But, recent changes have me hoping for more free time in the near future so that I can start doing the video editing over the winter.
