What I hate about overrated characters, are that they overshadow the more underrated characters, stopping them from getting the character development that they need. Btw, I also thought Woody was originally a piece of bread the first time I saw him 😅!!

As a massive Ice Cube fan, you bring up some really good points on her. She is a good character and she's really good when she does something but the issue is the writers have her there for filler. She was almost certainly meant to be the one eliminated over Cloudy but she barely got saved. Since she got saved she still hasnt done anything to be interesting in the show. Shes been sidelined since season 1, where she was the one eliminated by JackNJellify, and her only time she's been relavent since was BFB 13 and 14. If they brought back her vengefulness, or had her say something new and do something...that would be great. But unfortunately shes just there to pad out the roster and save certain characters on the S!
The reason Black Hole just sat there in TOPT 1 was because of Remote's plan. To refresh ya Remote's first plan was that Black Hole WAITS outside while the rest of Death P.A.C.T. again takes the stairs to jump off and use his gravity. And that's what he did, stuck with her plan waiting for them to jump. Then Remote had a new plan when the other one didn't work out but Black Hole didn't know about it and that plus his poor hearing is what made him the reason of his team losing the first challenge.
Leafy is such a intresting contestant. You can like or dislike her but seriously- but it has to mean something if you can dive into her for at least an hour Not like that man
I absolutely agree with Bomby. I think he’s very funny and memorable when he’s actually doing something and his voice is very unique. But getting more votes than Cake AND Nickel?? No. Cake and Nickel have the most potential on their team. If Bomby won’t do anything in TPOT, he doesn’t deserve to stay

I’m gonna admit I actually do kind of like TV and remote. They’re not my absolute favorites, but in a show where, like you said, a lot of the characters tend to have irritating voices, characters like these are a nice break on the ears. Remote’s text to speech voice actually makes a lot of her lines funnier in my opinion, and though T.V is essentially a gimmick character, him stringing together sentences out of old dialogue is pretty funny in my opinion.
I can imagine his voice turning into a really deep voice and him saying: "Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants."
From the perspective of a Grassy fan: I take a liking to him because hes a little *goober.* He's just a little guy, and he's doing what he can, and that to me is very charming. I could also state that in Episode 3, he was quite funny when he got comedically punched into the horizon. You almost never see him frown, not to memory at least, and I wanna have that kind of unstoppable attitude

I liked to see your perspective on Woody's character, although he can be considered overrated, I honestly saw him with a possible potential, that's why I liked him. So it's nice to see this whole analysis of him in the end
TV is just a gimmick character, but i like the gimmick and that's really the only reason i like seeing TV on screen he's not a perfect character but i just like him for the gimmick. if they wanted to give him an actual personality i wouldn't complain though, as he desperately needs one

the only time a character should be considered good in a challenge sense is if they single handedly won it for their team ex: Dora and Needle If the whole team is helping that’s just them doing what their supposed to do, they ain’t special, they shouldn’t get no bonus points and neither should Grassy

I love what you said about grassy being safe because he helped because just because he helped off screen most of the time doesn't change the fact that hes a background character that hogs votes and if people wanna use this excuse how come i dont see people defending Dora for saving bleh a ton or stapy for cheating to help his team win? Grassy would be ok if he didn't hog votes for having 2 lines
Also I don't hate rocky despite him having the same problems with grassy but the thing with rocky is that he doesn't hog votes and in bfdi he was hilarious with how stupid he was and in bfb and tpot he did become less fun but he didn't hog votes and Rocky did actually did stuff like helping the team and when he interacts with people its cute (ik I hate using that excuse but sometimes it's fun having a cute character when they don't hog votes)
5:12 I agree will almost everything but this: Blackhole isn't the reason Death PACT Again lost. Remote told him to stay, and BH's aren't known for their sense of hearing. So Tree had to throw a battery. So its basically Remotes and Trees fault ( Tree was clumsy and dropped the megaphone. )
If you ever make another overhated/underrated characters, PLEASE mention Dora, She was genuinely a missed opportunity for a interesting character, I’m genuinely surprised she was eliminated, Not saying Dora is an awful character, But she definitely having her flaws, But the fact that she was the target to eliminate in bleh, and not someone like Saw, Ice Cube, and TD, who keep in mind were also not in the abandoning arc, But this puts Dora in a Tough spot because Ice Cube and TD are fan favorites, And people find Saw cute, Despite the whole EIGHT thing, Makes Dora have a huge target on her back, Also, as a random fun fact: did you know that Dora is the only returning contestant from BFDI/BFDIA that didn’t survive a single elimination?

Honestly agree with these a lot, and what sucks is that the viewers will probably still save Grassy due to people feeling bad for him after getting just burnt, which puts characters who are actually developing such as Eggy and Basketball in danger. I really hope this patch of grass gets out soon. Also i honestly thought Woody was a piece of bread at first as well

i really really like tv, mainly just cause i see a lot of myself in him, he’s kind of in the background but i like to think he just wants to make everyone smile and help them out i do think that the recycled clips joke got old, but i think itd be way funnier if he used other youtubers’ clips, like schaffrillas productions’ rants and jacksepticeye’s screams

Cloudy will always be my number 1 favorite so you can imagine how sad I was when he was 4th from last. I didn’t even see it coming because I expected many other characters on the S! to go sooner!
To throw my hat in the ring: Grassy is overrated sure. However, I don't think that means he's dislikeable or not charming. His entire personality is "Bean." That's it! Just a happy-go-lucky guy with the curiosity and willingness to help of a kid, and I think that's a valid case for him. I too think his voice is annoying but also don't exactly know if any other voice would be fitting for him. I find him in the middle of the pack and wouldn't mind him getting eliminated, but I like a character that doesn't immediately go to murder when he's literally killed for the sake of a challenge. Leafy is overrated and I can sum up why I think so in two sentences: She never changed. OH WAIT THAT WAS ONE- TV? I just saw him as Price Tag but better, mostly because of his screen. It allows for so much potential (which is why I didn't vote PT and instead Avocado which was a HORRIBLE IDEA WHAT WAS I THINKING WHEN BATTERY, BOOM MIC, and SHOPPING CART WERE RIGHT THERE EVEN RUBBER SPATULA WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE) I think he's fine. Yeah if blocky had stayed I feel like woody would’ve fit more. He could’ve had a thing like in BFB 29 with blocky about pranks but much sooner but idk. Bomby was safe in tpot 4 because he has lots of BFDIA fans backing him + he was the first recommended character ever which has people backing him.
Allright i might sound crazy but remote is MAD MAD MAD underratted (atelast in tpot) after tpot 1 in my opinion she pretty much just got better, in tpot 2 i found her really funny, in tpot 4 she actully tried to safe the team and its not her fault she had no idea puffball could use ice cube. The only exeption is TPOT 3 were she did pretty much nothing but beside that i really enjoyed her, i mean she,s my secound favorite character in the whole series just based on tpot and i actully enjoyed her personality in bfb and how while still carrying about deaths she tried to win the challanges (mainly in tpot 9) and even besdie that she had some very good moments in bfb, the hacking in bfb 7, the (sadly smallP argument with black hole in bfb 8 about her almost blowing up a bettter name than that and how she was the most precious character in bfb 15 just goofind around with bottle and pen in four,s mouth.
tbh Woody got so much hate for being 'overrated' kinda made him overHATED. He's my personal favorite (Personal favorite cuz Fanny is my actual favorite), but he certainly has flaws, but he got hated for being overrated, yet characters like Pen and Lollipop I deem as overrated, but seem to get a pass (I love them though)
As a Blackhole fan, I can understand why you thought he was overrated. Basically, the main reason I like him is because He's a both powerful, and chill character. Even if I tried, I wouldn't be able to root for anyone else as much as Blackhole. But his place in the Tpot 7 felt kind of out of Character.

Grassy is cool. You shouldn't hate his voice. You should hate Ice Cube's because Ice Cube says the same flippin' thing over and over again!!! I know she changed in BFDIA 6 but.her.voice.in.every.single.other.episode. has just been "Yeah,No,Wha and IIIiiiii!!!!" And btw I love hearing Icy Scream in pain, That is why I like Blocky, Eraser, Match,Pencil,Leafy,Firey and Snowball.
my favorite character has to be teardrop, its something about td that makes me like her ALOT. maybe the killing,maybe the silence, OR MAYBE EVEN HER JUSTICE. (she might have justice) but i need to say x is my 2d favorite, maybe because his calming voice,idk why.
Yeah maybe grassy is overrated, but he’s also been improving it later tpot episodes, when he saved teardrop in tpot 8 even though she was an easy target. Edit: Same with ice cube, she has more lines lately, but RIP cloudy 😔 Edit 2: yes i have multiple edits but in tpot one remote mentioned that black holes weren’t known for their sense or hearing, and two said the challenge from a long height.
I honestly think pillow in overrated, yes she hold most of the death side of the show, but that is the point. All she does is kill people, mostly bomby. Sure, she did help in tpot 5, but in the previous episode she wasn’t doing nothing.she even threatened to break all two’s plates. Well she was a little funny but I didn’t like how she was first safe in tpot 5. pillow is fine, but all she does is kill people
Bruh Grassy is not overrated. He is boring but his cuteness stands out from the rest of the characters. Leafy is also not overrated. I know he being too nice in BFDI lead to him being known as overrated but he has now acquired character and is my current favourite character.
