I really appreciate you putting out these comprehensive reviews of the BFD3 packs. I've had BFD3/2 for years but have never used it! I just started becoming interested in using it as a drum replacement solution. You showing how to use the rudiment brush feature was huge for me! I haven't found a good demo of the features of BFD3 in depth yet. So I want to thank you especially for that. I may just start to try and use BFD3 for drum tracks instead of real drums. My wife will thank you! Great job! Carry on!
Im a huge fan of superior drummer 3..... but now I hear this gorgeous sounding snare pack from BFD3. Im LOVING the wide open ambience controls of BFD3... Nothing makes me smile more than hearing a perfectly tuned snare that rings for days. That seems to be missing from sd3 libraries. Seems every snare is choked somewhat by tape or moongel... BUT not so with BFD3. I'd like to hear some country covers with this pack... and a 22x18 kick with an Evan's Emad.
I haven't used SD3, but since they added the groove editor I'll probably pick it up at some point. BFD3 has some great drums, but I'm hoping for a UI overhaul in BFD4
@@BenoniStudio Ive never tried either one personally. Im watching videos to see which one is gonna give me the best (big ambient) acoustic sounds possible, but with an easy to use software. Im not good with computers at ALL!
