These are amazing thanks for sharing (I too had to get a silver daddy silkstone - Roger Sterling I believe? Also should probably watch the show too). If you don't have her already, I highly recommend the "in the pink" doll with the gigantic beaded dress. There's no room for her in my display, but she's the most detailed one I've seen. Though I only have her and three other silkstone girls at the moment so I could be wrong hahah. She has sheer ball gloves which I'd say is a smart idea, since you can see the details of her hands instead of the cursed "mittens" these barbie gloves always suffer through. Oddly enough, I'm not as big of a fan on the modern-day outfits they went for on the earlier BFMC dolls. They look very dated to the 2000s / wealthy-mistress-to-white-collar-crime (which I guess is a popular style again for the tiktok girlies?), with the boot cut pant suits and leopard print everything. The more vintage glamour is where they shine to me 😂

Trench Setter the the very first Silkstone I purchased and she is my favorite. I dress my Mad Men “Roger Sterling” in GI Joe’s clothes and he looks like a “hot daddy” driving all of the Silkstone Francie’s around in the pink ‘57 Chevy. LOL. I added Sunday Best to my Barbie as the, “Supremes” she reminds me of a young Mary Wilson. The blue gown that Blue Chiffon is wearing reminds me of, “To Catch a Thief” Grace Kelly, The Cocktail Dress is on my wish list... Wonderful Review, can’t wait to see more. I love that you added pantyhose and a bag to City Chic. The way she came without accessories or jewellery was a huge disappointment and signalled the beginning of the end of the BFMC for me.

I have the unpopular opinion that I don't care for Silkstone Barbie face. I want to like it but I don't. However, I completely love how special this line is and I adore the fashions. This is my first time seeing the Silkstone carrying case and I'm in love! I saw it on Mercado for $525 this week. Is that a good deal?

So fun fact, Sunday Best was imo the better mass produced Gold Label, and the white doll is in a black dress everything same except Mattel only made 250 and yes, I had one. Her name was City Smart. Pretty much a nothing burger that sells between 1500-3000$!

I could weep looking at your collection. I love Barbie so much and have only recently gotten my very first Silkstone (Best in Black). Do you think they'd ever make more furniture pieces? I wish they'd made more as well. I'm surprised how large the wardrobe looks!! Can you tell me what the dimensions actually are? I wasn't able to find them online.

I got the Best to a Tea doll and I am on Instagram as silkstonevogue21 and I haven’t cut her fascinator off but I disguise it with head scarfs for styling her for some of the vogue covers I create using the silkstone barbie’s as models. Your collection is gorgeous. I only own 4 silkstones and the 3 fashion sets but that will change once I will the lottery!
