BG3 Astarion Voice Actor Had a Difficult Road Up 

I really hope he doesn't become discouraged by the crazier fans over the years, they tend to obsess over, and objectify Neil in sometimes rather creepy ways and forgetting that he is a living being. I'm glad to see that his life turned around, he has the talent and very much deserves his goals to come true. I wish him the best.

Dude, I cannot imagine someone better fit for the role of Astarion than Neil Newborn. I loved that he compared this to scientists, I'd say is closer to mathematicians. That fictional truth that actors play is based on assuming a reality, much like axioms in mathematical universes, fictional laws and dynamics. Once you have that base, and you can situate yourself in that "reality", the rest comes to life. I see that within his acting. The way Astarion laughs pretentiously or the inflections that suggest movement (and that comes w the animation cause Astarion moves his head a LOT, way more than Neil), it couldn't happen if he didn't have that skill. Both his acting and his gaming background really came to life. Makes sense he consulted with Mercer too. I hope he gets more good-paying gigs, it'd be the best to see him in more games. [can you imagine this guy playing TTRPGs professionally tho? It'd be awesome to watch]

Really adore his humbleness and it is honestly so nice to see how his efforts and awesome work and passion for the arts and craftsmanship of his particular industry have been rewarded until now, even though he'd been through some tough times ❤ surely there is much more to come for him and I hope he can fullfil his aspirations and achieve his personal goals to full satisfaction! A really inspiring and dedicated person, I highly respect him.

He's awe inspiring. I adore his giving warm Spirit. His incredible learned, self. His honest, humblness, but not his self defeat. He deserves so much happiness. And he has been blessed to find the path where he has his supportive community now. I wish him well, health, even love and happiness. I knew right away I found a unique and fun villainy dude to cheer on. Then along comes a amazing layered cake, with kitten fangs. And welcoming blade?¿ But wait there's so much more to this Character that I see... He's in pain, he's definitely a vamp, tho sun, and his strange bite tat, in his pale neck, his laugh is infectious and his somberly loner vibe doesn't freak me out. And his sarcastic bite, doesn't either. He is also dangerously dashing, with curly white hair, and clearly the well defined features, of a young high elf, who still has his borne name. Upon first light. But look deeper, and you can see a deeper Disturbed soul, darker knowledge. Tho sweeter wanting. He's a riddle book, I really like his airy banter, the most at camp. And on the trail. He's a mystery worth Solving. But he's so tricky, and hard to get to open up... What keeps me so interested in one so off the scales, charming, yet so very alarming? He's the only one in camp, who will give me any real attention. He actually feels like I can do no wrong, for his merry mischief, and that welcoming soft as Velvet, voice of his... Yes, Stari is definitely a mysterious strange elf, with stranger desires. But he also listens to me, and makes me giggle, at his ideas, and I feel his heart, I think he wants to be loved, he just has no idea how to explain it, or express it. He smiles cheekily prose at me, but I only give it right back to him. He's taken back by it, but in a fight I was losing, he was the only one out of my Companion's who cared to keep me alive. Now he's quite the reader, always has his pretty face in an open book. He's welcoming, and his interests vary topic. I give him an inquisitive glance, and he just dances around the subjects. Mostly his skillful killing ways, when I saw red glint in his wide eyes. Finally admitting he's the V Vamp in Camp. To a resounding No kidding, I had no idea? He look's at us like a blushing bride. Dismay, shock, to disappointment... Well, what gave me away? Everything... Well, that suX, but I don't kill, thinking creatures, especially those who are so delightfully delicious, as you love. Hahha. Why did you wait so long to tell us? Perhaps I thought you would just drive a stake thru my chest. I needed you to trust me, and you can, trust me... He after all was just looking for a kindred Spirit, a good soul... So he could trust in TAV ❤️‍🩹✨ So perfectly imperfect situation. And a lovely beautifully built sympathy Character. With PTSD. You can hate, or love him, but often humanly sadly misunderstand Him. ✨🐈‍⬛✨ Neil said he's part abused stray kitty. Who fears as well as power's thru and appears OP party Rogue. Collaboration of Larian Studios Writer Steven, And Neil worked together for 4 years to make their Astarion, fun loving, annoyingly insulting and blunt. He did try to warn you, he bite's. To getting into silly mischief, tho adept fighter, sexily sneaky thief, lover boi, waxing and wayning dreaming, over the open canopy of stars, you are unfortunately blotting, from his view. And tragically beautiful sarcastic, Vampy from Campy. The graceful Stray, kitty no one wants. Looks at TAV with pleading curious glance. Till they respond favorably, or send him away abandoning him, how could you be so stupid? And cruel, to accepting his needs, as he is defenceless and helpless, kitty... Just a lil, blood I swear. Good one Larian Do what the Vamp wants and you have a very interesting and intimate moment feeding your Vamp friend, keeping him from weakening hunger. And it's up to the dice, to decide which way this goes. A Vampy Spawn, as an Allie? Or TAV being a lovely snack... A drained one, and dead. But seriously you should have Saved your game. The moment he begged for blood. Because your future friendship or Relationship depends upon it. That and Astarion's Happy buff, you may be bloodless, but Vampy can use all his tools, including his Vampy bite, on unsuspecting baddie's, who end up surprised and also drained, so that they can be easily delt with. You greatly benefit, from Vampy bite, as it means you don't have to give as a blood donor anymore, or you can choose if you do or don't. And like he said you can trust him. But could he trust TAV to know him? That's the mystery that confuses TAV To ass end him, and never find out he truly doesn't know what he wants, or needs. TAV needs to. It's a Complication, that only steals Astarion's soul... Your fun loving Scamp Vampy friend changed forevermore, and what a Ass U made TAV out of U and him. His bite is not from love, TAV. V V He hates and see's you as just another degrading object, to use up. Ass End of no where And our sweet Vampy Spawn friend is completely gone... I will kill you, and your love... 💔 🗡️🗡️ 🩸 He ends up abusive and unfeelingly dangerous. Hatefull, spitefully Controlling. As Cazador his slave Master was. But give him the benefit of the doubt, and let him know that he can be better then the self centered jerk he came from. And Spawn out surpasses and surprises us. We also save him completely and set him free, from the cruel bonds that held him. And he is later only Appreciative that TAV believed in him... It's heart grippingly good. Best beginning for our Vampy who may have to give up the sun to walk in shadows again, but he still wants to live again, and he finally tells TAV it's with them..❤️‍🩹✨🧝🏻‍♀️✨🧚‍♀️ Neil, I know your not going to probably ever see this, but Please take a breath, every now and then.
