I agree that the word philosophy is a more applicable word than the word religion in describing the message and contents of the Bhagavad Gita. However, I also personally feel the word philosophy also falls severely short of describing what is given in the Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita is Tattva. Perhaps the word doesn’t really exists in the English language. Translated loosely as truth. What it really means is the complete and specific truth and truths about reality and all of its elements in full.
We hindu's looking after something's that which we don't need. Look at this great man who came out from our boundary talking and giving the knowledge of geeta. Salute you guru.
The westerners are wise n intelligent to understand Hinduism..now the Bhagawath Gita n vethas reached their hands.. they will protect Hinduism hereafter.
Bhagavad Gita in English recitation is very nice. In this happy day ( my second child has born) it gives me much pleasure and helps me to realize the Almighty Abruvs in contrast of Rubel Faith.
It was a great recitation almost two hour long, took my morning walk , my breakfast and beyond taking me into a nap off and on. No wonder it was tiring for the person reciting it to the live audience . Great effort.
Thank u so much for this...! Today is world gita day and I am blessed to have a video like this I can listen to the recitation which is blissful Hare Krishna😇🙏🙏
Thanks for the English recitation. Sanskrit version sounds good to devotees but not to the u tube listeners who want to know about the faith , Krishna and the lessons given in Gita.
Krishna is saying to us " you live forever, get perfect knowledge, have perfect relationship". By the grace of BG knowledge our being, our having, and our giving becomes super harmonized to His positive will. Our ego identity becomes transparent to His relationship. This life is a gift and we are learning how to reciprocate with the Giver of the gift.
I have been reading Bhagavad Gita since 1981. I taught myself to read Sanskrit and Hindi and though I plod along, since I have had no tutor, I continue reading. I got the Iskcon English translation in 2006 on an MP3 disc. Since then I have been listening to 5 hours of pure Bliss at least once per month. Every week, just 1 hour. Too much nectar in one sitting can make you drunk, so I allow myself just one hour per week. I have found this to be all that one needs in life. I am so happy, so much at peace. I just know that the Bhagavad Gita speaks directly of the Lord, to the Lord and it comes from Krishna himself. Jai Shri Krishna!
To inhabit planets to keep precise orbits, hrmmm this one I think has to do with length mesurement, and also nolocality, and also particles that have novel properties that cant be masured precisely with know methods, the use of nonpurturbative measurement to gather measurement is a process by which the kosmos works of couse, free will is generated by one such process.
Sir , my question I read to be equal in win or lose from Gita but in daily life I emotionally controlled by outcome despite having knowledge so how to be detached?
Ohhh .... Really ... If you will come in India you get lots of person who can. Describe very welll ... And sure you will satisfy his answers. Jay Shree Krishna 🙏🙏🙏
Back to the supreme consciousness where you're come from, and which is also a part of you, within you. We are not aware of that consciousness as we are overwhelmed by the body, senses, mind and intellect. While they are all important, our goal should be to master them instead of the other way around. That is the first step toward experiencing consciousness- God.
Thank you for English version that is being read by a non-indian accented English speaker without a heavy Indian accent. That heavy Indian accent speaking English is hard to understand so if that were the case you might as well read it in the Sanscrit. Would sound same to me. Sorry have a very hard time understanding Indian accent.
2.31 the translation is wrong. Dharma doesn't only mean religious principles. Dharma is the rightest cause in a particular given situation. Isn't it so ascribed? Or we could say, divine/cosmic principles.
It is contextual to the previous and subsequent verses and the verse itself. This is the benefit of reading a translation by a self realized soul, will put the possible individual translation into the context so the proper and complete meaning becomes accessible. This is not an academic process but a divine one.
@@theodorejaffe1180 bro. Dharma is well aware of the truth that principles change under the nesecity of practicality. Wherever there's practicality there's no perception.
@@poethub6430 not sure if what you wrote has a single connection to my comment. Gita gives the, specific method to unlock the codes to the 700 sutras and that is in chapter 4 section 34.
@@theodorejaffe1180 your knowledge has just come from the Gita. That's the point. You've just seen the tip of the iceberg. There are many other books. Practical action is dharma.
