I’m amazed at the dedication of this wonderful, very knowledgeable, patient teacher and the eagerness to learn by the students. Kudos from an old man. Not boasting but stating the facts here that Sanatana culture is being maintained and carried on forward MAINLY by this particular section of the population. Be it music or dance or drama!! Especially so considering the ridicules and assaults on their persons (cutting of poonals, chopping of kudumis and bodily attacks) from the Kazagam mob for over 50 years. And the general public standing on the side with a sheepish delightful sniggering 😢. My namaskarams to all these Vidwans and their students and their parents 🙏
Other sections of people also practise music, dance and drama. Music, dance and drama are not the properties and assets of one particular section of the population. What you stated are not facts, but empty boast.
@@sundargopalakrishnan3570 don’t be an idiot. Not a boast but stating a fact. The students who attend dance, music classes of my relatives are MAINLY brahmins . Sri Lankan tamils are very much interested but not our Tamils. The top carnatic musicians are brahmins. Other community are not interested and that’s the reason and not due to any discrimination. Yes, dance and music are not preserves of brahmins but they seem to be the main keepers of these traditions. One time Devadasis were the custodians, the brahmins have taken over now. Accept it and move on.
@@vish2553 I agree with what you have said. But one objection. Why do you call me an idiot? This shows your arrogance. Not only you, your entire community is arrogant, exceptions are very few. If I choose to pay you back in your coin by calling you an idiot, won't you get angry and feel sad and miserable? Non-brahmins don't show interest in music, dance and drama, I know.
