No "Lord" - please drop that word - Seethamma maayamma, Sriramudu maa thandri - no one should say our Father is a Lord - that is servant speak - Christians and Muslims view God more as a Master and they use this word - they are slaves down on their knees begging for the Master's mercy. We are higher than that - we are the True Children of God and our terminology must reflect that

Someone who was seeing Kali mata ALL the time - he mentoned there are more than 1 way to reach God (meaning Hindusism, Islam, Christainity etc etc) If he can say with such conviction about different ways, who are we to criticize other religions. After studying Sri Rama Krishna parama hamsa life, I understood the minute someone puts down other religions they are disqualified from being a Hindu. 2. You mentioned the word Lord is wrong. Have you studied lifes of Bhakta Ramadasu & Bhakta Kannapa. Bhakta Ramadasu criticized Sri Rama for not saving him from prison. Bhakta Kannapa put his leg on Shiva linga. God didn't punish these devotees but instead blessed them understanding that these are mistakes of innocent devotees. Point here is not to get caught up in words, sentences, practices but become closer & closer & closer to God with prayer & devotion as Potana did in this movie. There is more than one way to reach God just as in life there is more than one way to make a living - so if your kid wants to be a doctor, another wants to be a carpenter, 3rd doesn't want to do anything - you can't force your views on anyone.
