Seeing Wheels in such a poor state after attending stock car meetings for many years, this makes me want to cry. We lost Coventry Stadium in Brandon back in 2016 (side note: if you've never explored it, check it out, as it may be of interest to you), so to lose yet another track is devastating. BriSCA Formula One is dying on its feet due to glorious tracks like this shutting down. Absolute travesty. All that aside, this is a great video, and you've earned yourself a new subscriber.
Fair play to the lads having a look at the old wheels site so good for bmx racing etc I wonder if the bmx frame shop is still there rip a track I loved the bmx euro track
Wow, it's massive. It looks bigger than Drayton manor theme park, Knowing its Going to be the 2nd Biggest Ground in England is Simply Amazing, Nice 1 Lads, Hopefully The Work will Start Soon, 5 Year's Flys By, Birmingham City's WOW. Thanking you, Owers,
And if you want to see footage of the track in operation, there's always my channel I think i saw a pen I left in race control too haha RIL Birmingham Wheels, an underrated gem
l used to watch the Birmingham Brummies speedway team ride there in the 80s,-that was the refs box you were in when looking down at the track,-the whole area is a tip now,-glad that Blues have bought it,-no wonder the council were glad to sell it.
10:17 - that's where, in September 2006, I did my first ever commentary on the PA, starting my path to become a professional motorsport commentator and journo. Seeing it just left like this infuriates and disgusts me.
