#Bhook is the story of a young kid of a poor family who longs for the education but is forced by the circumstances to earn for his livelihood for him as well as his ailing mother. As he is asked not to beg for his bread but to earn it, again the law enforcement does not allow him to work because it is illegal to have child labor in the state.
Not to beg is very much imbibed in his mind because of his dead father's wishes which are followed by his mother.
He always very anxious about the school and the children of his age studying in the schools. However the hunger of the body takes the toll than the hunger of studying.
The film tries to defect this part of his life and tries to throw the light on the system where he is not allowed to work but has to earn his bread.
It tries to throw the light on the problem that if the system and the adverse circumstances do not help to satiate his hunger.
The whole idea of the film is to put forth the problems of children like "BABALU" the centre character of the film and to find a solution which is not easy to get.
How to satisfy the hunger of education or knowledge ? At the same time how to satisfy the hunger of himself and his family ????
