Yoo, jaesuk - He is the MC who received the most grand prizes in Korea. Lee, hyori - A female singer who received both the Entertainment Awards and Singer Awards. Yoo Jae-suk and her past long-time entertainment programs were together. Rain- He is the first singer and actor to achieve the most in Korea. He has performed together with lee,hyori 20 years ago, and he has a close relationship with lee, hyori and calls her “sister” in a friendly way. In Korea, all three are called legends, but Rain is the youngest among them.🤣 In a variety show hosted by Yoo Jae-suk, the most successful male and female singers in Korea, project group ssak3 was planned.

As others have said the group SSAK3 was made through the show How do Yoo Play led by Yoo Jae Suk (a comedian in which he recruited Rain (a really successful soloist) and Hyori (former member of 1st gen group, Finkl, and also a successful soloist). They all go way back and have done shows together as separate artists since the old days. This project group was made to reflect the sentiment of 90’s co-ed groups. Co-ed groups were a big thing in the 90’s and hasn’t really been a thing recently so that’s why they decided on the concept. Basically the premise of the show is Yoo Jae Suk tries out a bunch of things and often collaborated with other artists. To name a few concepts:: He was a drummer and the show sent his drum sample to several producers to add an element of a song on the track, and then they would do a relay where they would send it to other artists they know and eventually made several songs from his drum sample. Then he debuted as a trot singer, Yoo Sanseul, and topped charts. Then he did SSAK3 and also topped charts. Then he produced Refund sisters (Linda/Hyori, Jesse were in this) with members filled with strong female personalities. Then he produced the ballad MSG Wannabe filled with older singers, rappers, actors, and comedians.

About the guy from Weekly idol, Kwanghee, he really was in a group ZE:A. His co-MC, Eunhyuk, is from SuJu.

Hyori/Linda is a certified savage. She hasn’t done a bunch of shows since she got married and has moved to Jeju-do but when she does come back to do a show it does well. It’s usually to guest on the shows of friends and most recently she did a homestay at their house for people vacationing in jeju and it was amazing. People say she’s mellowed out since she got married but her savage personality just comes out so naturally on tv 😂😂😂
