Bible Journaling for the Absolute Beginner 

Ever since I came to know God I started bible journaling! Its been 5 yrs i think and when I look back to my journals I am still in awe of Gods love and faithfulness to me :) My goal is to keep all my journals so that I can share it with my future daugther and someday!

I am so blessed to have found you. I have been struggling with my journaling for over a year now. i have followed tutorials that either require the purchase of many supplies or are way advanced for a non-artist like me. I have ruined many a page with these tutorials and so started doing art on printer paper or deli paper and then gluing those into my Bible and covering with gesso. This is not the best look and adds a ton of bulk to your Bible. I found your tutorial and actually was brave enough to draw directly on my Bible page. it's not perfect, but it looks pretty and made me more confident in my ability to finally Bible journal IN my Bible. I believe the Lord has led me to you so I can now bravely continue my Bible journey. I have subscribed to your channel and signed up for your weekly tutorials. Thank you for simple, honest tutorials that do require spending money for each tutorial or an art degree. Bless you Amanda.

I have the creative bible journal that already has the words printed but I got to draw these little flowers onto the page. I'm so glad that I signed up for your weekly Tuesday tutorial lessons. I've been afraid to do any drawings on the pages though colouring the words was ok. But after doing the drawing it doesn't look half bad. Much better than I thought it would look. Granted I drew the flowers on a sheet of paper first to make sure I drew them correctly before doing it in my bible. :) Thank you so much Amanda. I can't wait to get the other lessons.

I had a paperback bible that I've had for years and was kinda worn out so it was the best gift but then I had no idea what to do and was scared of messing up. This video helped a lot!

Bless you! You are so inspirational. I have in the past used colored magic markers aand really tiny print for my notes and personal thoughts about verses in my Bible. What I usually end up with is a Bible that is so marked up with majic marker or notes that have been scrunched up so badly as to render the Bible nearly useless. So I retire that Bible and start with another, resolving not to make the same mistakes. inevitably, it begins to look the same as the one I retired and I lose the points and significance of the verse. Perhaps with your assistance I can finally come up with a system that will prove to be the solution for me and I won't have Bible's that I've had to retire because they've become too confusing for me to continue to use them. Hi my writing is bad. Do this book just have the letters or being space to practice? Where do you practice?

Thanks for the helpful video. It seems that a lot of journaling Bibles have ruled lines in the margins rather than being plain. I would prefer plain personally so that it doesn't interfere with the artwork. Do you use ones with the ruled lines or do you buy ones without? Which ones come without lines and are the ones with lines that visible? Also, many seem to have a 7.5 pt Lexicon type. Is that very small to read? It seems like you might need a magnifying glass just to see. Thanks
