Genesis 6:9, Matthew 5:48 Ecclesiastes 7:29 KJV “Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.” God made us upright but we became curious to try things that went against that. we became attached(yoked) and more interested in things that look and feel good but they really brought us away from our true destiny. It may seem fun at the moment or feel good to be mean but on the inside, there is an emptiness because we were not created to those things. The law was given to direct us back to how we were destined to be but it was not pleasing to God because humans would “do” good but not always have a true desire or humans would continue in sin because what influenced and direct their mind was their flesh. Jesus Christ came so that we could receive a new spirit or in other words a new guidance that would direct us and give the power to not only live holy but that we would desire and become holy. As he intended from the beginning. So then when we are tempted to think, do, or say things that are not right, we have God’s word, our example Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit (through baptism( burying our old ways/sin) and repentance (turning away from our old ways/sin) the Holy Ghost will give you power to resist sin. And cleanse you from all unrighteousness. The things you used to do, you wouldn’t want to because now God has washed you filled you with his Holy Spirit and made you new. Life will seem so fresh. Full of joy and true peace a sound mind Those old sinful things would not look pleasing anymore, you now feel complete. though you will be tempted to go back to your old ways because your body remembers how it made you feel or how you defended yourself, but now you have a new mind, hope for something greater, and power to not return Once you continue to resist the temptations, have your thoughts on God’s word instead of what you are always used to thinking on, you will become his word. If someone continues to think about how someone hurt them, they will stay sad, angry, bitter, and not forgive. But when you think how God’s words instruct You to ..soon you will have joy, love, hope, peace and let that person be free from what they did to you. You will no longer be hurt by it because God’s word through prayer fasting and continue to not think about what they did, you will become a new person. There’s joy peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost There’s more to life and there’s a new life full of love. Whatever you are dealing with, God will help you. Don’t blame God. A christian who believing in Christ but not following Christ IS NOT A CHRISTIAN AT ALL..ARE YOU AGREE?

The Thessalonian Christians didn't have to persevere for long since Paul taught that the second coming was to happen soon, in his lifetime (verses 4:15-17 and 5:23). As verses 4:13-18 show, they were upset that some of them had already died and Jesus hadn't returned yet. So their situation was rather different from most of modern-day Christians.
