This song and the entire Babel soundtrack defines my life for the past 15 years. This is one of the most memorable pieces and Babel will remain to be the most impactful movie of my life.
After falling in love with "Merry Christmas mr lawrence" 's soundtrack.. I became interested in Mr. Sakamoto's music.. then I discovered he was the composer of Babel and Weathering Heights soundtracks which I was deeply in love with them as well ... I was already his fan without knowing... Thank you Mr. Sakamoto for your beautiful soul💖💖
@@dezmilcoisas but he kinda did? He composed the OST for Wuthering Heights, and provided a piece of music for Babel's ending (this one, "Bibo No Aozora").
I've been listening to this song for years now, it's been 2 3 years since last time I heard it, and everytime without fail I feel a physical pain in my chest while listening to this song. It physically hurts me and I don't know why.
It's the wind that blew into my heart, about you. The shimmering silence between us, only the howling of the autumn breeze. I look into your eyes, nostalgia occupied my words. I wanted to hold your hands as much I wanted to steal your heart. Yet, a ironic twist by the waves, the sound of the birds across the shorelines, drown my murmuring voices. Only echoes remain... A poem I wrote for Sakamoto's "Bibo no Aozora".
what wonderful expression in his playing! the music seems to draw inspiration from classical romantic (brahms), modal jazz and classical incidental works. just lovely. xo
i cant forget watching this movie babel first. it can not express to word, in the movie, when a nude woman stares at her father. now, it seems that the emotion is alive again. from korea..
you can feel the emotion in this song, my ears are in total bliss! People need to be exposed to more songs like this, the world would be a better place
I used to have people that I love in deep. While they were all gone. It's hard to describe how this work brings me with such silence and strength. I deeply appreciate and wish every soul with peace but alive.
The title in Japanese is written 美貌の青空, (Bibo no aozora) and means 'The Beautiful Blue Sky' as others have said. 'Bibo' is beauty or beautiful, 'no' is the possessive like apostrophe 's in English and 'aozora' means blue sky.
Wow. You can hear, feel and see the pain in this song. Simply magnificent! Look at the pain on Mr. Sakamoto's face as he performs this masterpiece. Gotta place this as one of my favorites. Thumbs way up. I'm really feeling as I've been going through some really rough times. How wonderful that Trey Songz sampled this beautiful composition for his latest song "Can't be friends'' which I absolutely love as well.
this is one of my favourite pieces written for Piano the cello accompaniment it also good, but makes it more eerie and disjointed, I like this for it's simplicity and beauty. Glass of red wine, close your eyes and just dive in.
This song makes me drop to my knees and thank almighty Allah for all the good times and bad times in my life because the human experience is such a blessing and a curse
I'd been saying that for my whole life until a couple of months ago when i decided to pick up a cheap electronic keyboard and learnt a few chords. Since then, i've been learning more stuff, easy things, like chord progressions for simple sing-along songs. Start like me, and if you get the feel for things you should feel very satisfied pretty quickly :) It really is never too late!
