I'm 55 and my teenage kids play with the radio in the car. It's Friday night and the radio is tuned to Radio 1 and Anne Mac I pull up in the car and wait for my son to finish rugby practice before going to the chip shop ( its a glamorous life !) and sit there transfixed listening to this. 3 hours later I'm running around iplayer trying to find this track and after that I've ended up here. Tell me I'm not too old to enjoy this... its brilliant !!!
today's young people will never understand what rave is (I'm 27 years old but I grew up among people of the old date) today raves are known for the fact that there are a lot of ambulances in front of the clubs :D
My goodness, the whole atmosphere of this song is incredible! I've listen to it at least 23819 times now and it never gets enough. Not many songs reach this level of relistanability. So, thank you Bicep!
I found this song as I was on the train from Cardiff to Manchester. Some guy had his laptop screen on show as he fell asleep with this playing. I love to be recommended new things without it being people's intention. Good find indeed.
Love this. The same thing happened to me on a Megabus back from Bristol to Cardiff. The guy, (who looked like he was on a sleepy/euphoric opium trip) was playing Bonobo (Bambro Koyo Ganda)... The second hand sound was a bit weird but could make out a thumping yet soothing bassline that was too irresistible not to google when I got home that night. Glad I didn't take the bike that day; Had hell of a comedown and Bonobo is now one of my favorite Chillout artists. :D Perhaps us Cardiff people are a sleepy bunch... Perhaps too much partying haha :D
Wtf Literally on a coach from Leeds to Cardiff now listening and reading these comments ....mind you i listen to this song 37588 times a year so probably not that much of a coincidence 😂
Love everything about this track. The oldschool sound to the simplicity. captured an era and moment of breaks history so perfectly in this one track. Definitely will be in my playlist for a long time.
I‘m 25 and found this song through a snippet in an instagram story. Now I‘m sittin‘ on my balcony at 1am, it’s a clear warm pre-summer-night in april. I want this night to stay forever.
Glue - Bicep, Opal - Bicep (Four Tet Remix), & Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra - Too much Information - Laolu Remix. Three songs with the same feeling as this. Happy listening.
absolute killer, heard it for the first time at secret garden party last year in the distance. after that we played it constantly through out the whole festival, then on the sunday, it was the closing song. nearly burst into tears.
Follow me in the afterlife my friend. We can dance on planets and stars while creating new galaxies and we can the play this song so loud it shakes the entire universe.
mixing it at my best friend’s dirty thirty.. ..driving through the vibrant arizona scenery, blaring it, and remembering that same friend, who is now no longer with us. i love you lauren, i know its not the vocal but “i’m just the same.”
After carefully analizing this melody, I have come to the conclusion that this brilliant melody is actually a phonenumber of an advanced alien civilisation!
First mad festival I went to last year called Equinox, went into a tent with all this wacky strobe lighting and the dj was playing this tune, never enjoyed dancing to a song so much. Glad I found it, some good memories!
This, Dahlia and Seagulls are just sublime! I've been studying your songs for the last couple of years and have learnt so much- everything is perfect and you're such an inspiration to the up and coming underground musicians everywhere. Just wanted to say thanks and that i hope you can carry on doing what your doing for the couple of decades!
You earned a permanent fan after your show with Ben Klock+Nina K in melbourne.....Finding more and more of your music is like digging through some primo crates.
`Waouhh ! Just listened to it, I'm in Paris, a FB, mental hospital friend to start with, he's from Australia and doing well after 10 days locked up in his room tied up to his bed ! I ADORE IT, WHAT A GROOVE ! Shared it with my friends !
Anytime I stick the headphones on and listen to biceps music I just want to be on a long train journey looking out the window watching the whole world pass by
Yeah I feel you on that. I can remember some wicked moments listening to my favourite tunes on a ferry journey and on plane journeys, looking out of the window
...so many sunrises...wide eyes... pale faces...wish I could shiggy back there for a while but take Bicep with me! Warms my li'l old heart ... ahhhhhhhhh...
This song just reminds of all the worries in the world we have looking at the sun rising and all worries have gone ]. This song is just so soothing and is like a therapy medicine taken and all the worries in the world disappear. One of my fav tracks
I always get the chills when I listen to biceps songs ! This is arite decent little tune , but for me it’s gota be Atlas, glue or 4tet literally play them songs everyday gives me som much positivity makes me feel like life’s worth living 💯🔥👌❤️ -
Yup, Circles and Just are two tracks I pretty much put in every house set I play. Circles when I want to raise the spirits and Just to close it with a mellow note.
I think I have to go to NY I can’t take it anymore!!!! I must see these guys before I loose it. I’m 46 and don’t care if I’m the oldest person there. Or fattest. None of that matters except the music. This songgg is ridiculous!!
It's mad how I only heard this a bit ago despite being into Bicep. The Port at Bestival is a prime place to hear bangers like this. Big respect to the Bicep boys.
this track opens up new levels of nostalgia i didn't even knew about...damn it got played at every party few years ago when i went to the first raves....
this song is amazing and more , it really gets in your mind and takes you to another level . i been a music head of all genres for years now and this is on another level
This is incredible and has given me so much inspiration. I love the layout of the track. Definitely going to try and replicate the order of these new sounds popping in
stage managed at together boston this year and heard this tune about 5 times through the fest. i remember ardalan playing it thursday night and mano le tough banging it out on friday! totally different crowds at the two shows but it smashed both nights. what a gem
When ever I hear this come on the radio I feel extra happy, gives me similar feelings as to listening to "Volare" by Dean Martin. Just happiness all around.
They played this track at rainbow seedy sonics last week, i can't begin to describe the feelings this song gave me. a whole new level of feelings i experienced, the melody is so perfect! i literally dont know how to describe what i felt! un fucking beliavable track! this and mdma, PERFECTION.
10 months down the line and i've just put it in one of my tracks, i experience the night all over again... Honestly hands down the greatest track i've ever came across.....
Mike Skinner (the streets) once said "imagine the world leaders on pills" how true is this, especially with bicep (any track) playing. It would cause World peace. How beautiful and easy to achieve
this isn't one of those songs you listen to at home and really truly enjoy... but hear it one time on a real speaker system and you'll start to f l o a t
