That feeling when you’re peaking on a pill, with your mates, haven’t gotta worry about tomorrow, warm lager in your hand, the lasers light up the whole sky and the bass rattles your guts. There is no better feeling. It’s from the pit of your stomach to the back of your eyes. Incredible. Life is beautiful.
I'm the same, I them live at warehouse project last December, the studio versions just don't come close do they. That set last December will live with me forever, I've seen Four Tet, Jamie XX loads of other DJ's live but these guys are something else.
Bicep are so great ... Glue seems like it's leading me somewhere ... Apricots feels like the destination ... I'm 54 today, I dont know if a track will ever feel like Apricots again
The brilliant thing about both of these tracks is that you can either dance like a nutter or just stand and sway in a trance. It's up to you. They're definitely two of this era's defining electronic tracks 👍🏼
Well Apricots was released during Covid when all the clubs were shut. Its what they called "home dance music" where you can still dance an have a good time. Not as upbeat as in clubs
Probably watched this clip 100 times and every time it blows my mind! Bicep are masters at flooding their tracks with emotions. Close your eyes and turn it up 👌
I have never heard Glue be played live, but each time I hear a different version, it makes me cry. How can someone create such beautiful music that withstands the test of time, and makes people feel unexplainable emotions across the oceans... Yeah I'm in love...
I believe they actually hve like fucking loads of versions of all the tracks and when you listen back through their catalogue it’s amazing to hear where sounds and songs might have stemmed from. Bicep are incredible
First Time when i hear this masterpiece im was The same situation but now im realised thats gift from Bicep for natural normal people who has got the best kind of musiC ❤😊😊😊
I just listened to Bicep playing these at Audioriver Festival in Płock Poland. Middle of the night, POURING rain, everyone absolutely soaked in colorful raincoats, waving umbrellas, throwing their hands up in the air, jumping in the mud, screaming, it was madness. Lasers were refracting in the air, it felt like a miriad stars descending upon us, I was dancing with the widest smile, rain falling on my face, in my mouth, I was wet down to the pants and socks, my phone got soaked and died, I felt like a window to another universe opened in front of me. Without exaggeration it was one of the best moments of my life.
That moment was pure detachement and transmission to the land of sound and visual extasy. Kasst concet at AR brought me to the same place. It is hard to describe those experiences. Pure Joy. I miss that.
Bicep picking up where Orbital left off. The visuals were epic, brilliant set , incredible that the energy came through on the screen. Must have been amazing to be there…
They are the first band in ages that are as good as Orbital, Underworld, Leftfield, Chems. I've seen all of them at glasto and Bicep were equally as good I'd say. Amazing.
Exactly what I thought when I first heard Bicep a few years back. Happy to see that the creativity of the first generation of EDM hasn't died with it becoming bigger than we ever imagined back then.
It was. Sunset slot at West Holt's on the Sunday. It was soooo beautiful, the feeling of complete togetherness. You just knew you were part of something incredibly special. The perfect way to end the festival and my absolute highlight x
That’s exactly the people we want at festivals get off ya arse get some money in and get there!!!! If you want crypto guides check us in all major socials have a great weekend!!!!🎉😂LFG!!!!
I was there, floating about 6 inches above the ground, having the time of my life. Rewatching it is quite emotional. Don't wait for the rave to find you, go find the rave ✌️
Modern day icons of electronic music. After being besotted with music in general by watching Arctic monkeys headline glasto 2007, and subsequently been drawn into electronic music by bicep and ejeca, it really hits home to see the lads have Glastonbury in their hands. The lads who started my electronic music fascination are literally pulling the pants of the festival that made me fascinated by music, it doesn’t become more poetically just than that. Proud to be Irish and proud to have experienced music. Good night and good bless.
@@oisinmcnally5952 Their collab track You is incredible. Super sick to see Bicep transform into the massive act they are now and also seeing ejeca smash it with Trance Wax.
@@dylanwynne-osullivan1720 “you” is probably one of my favourite songs along with Ejeca- night rays. Hopefully they start playing some of those older tunes again!
What a masterful live rendition... Imagine standing in the crowd, hearing these tunes come up and then it's even better than the actual record. Absolutely impressive
This was my fifth time seeing them, and the best yet. The mixing, the sound, the light show - all perfect. There were people chatting in places, so we moved. How anyone could say they were bored is beyond my comprehension. It was exquisite.
Goosebumps, tears (of joy), smiles and more. I LOVE this while set - and these 2 tracks together at the end was something special. I can’t stop watching it. Thank you Glasto and thank you Bicep for creating modern day classics xxx
When they transitioned to Apricots, a chap called Conor who became my best mate for the 90 minute set said out loud "Sing along if you know the words everybody". We all did
Bicep are another level, I grew up with Orbital who are fantastic but Bicep are hold my beer boys. So grateful to be alive to see and witness this. History.
looks like 2022 sounds and feels like I'm back in the 90s ..beautiful to see the younger generation loving the kind of sounds that have dominated my world for 30 years. its the most powerful music around done right...like this
here i am again re-watch this over and over... as i often do. i speak for a lot of people here... this is truly a masterpiece that takes us somewhere else. not here, but somewhere... this is phenomenal. ❤
This music makes me feel nostalgic. I feel sad and happy, relieved. I feel like I'm dead and free at the same time. I have knots in my stomach and tears in my eyes, yet I am happy as I have never been. I am anxious and scared by this music. Definitely, I listen to it on repeat, like an obsession and I love it
Great set - wish the BBC would learn that we don't want to look at the audience though, I swear their content is 80% people waving their arms in the air just stop it
I always felt like apricots was a part 2 to glue, together so good, glue is an all time dance song, it will be remembered in twenty years the same way sandstorm is
I am 62 I grew up from Devo punk to new wave soul to house techno now we are here this time in life I feel emotional with this music love it brings out a lot digs deep into my soul
I’ll be forever jealous of those there in that moment. The music, the crowd, the atmosphere. Things like the fireworks are just in the background contributing. So perfect. So heavy, yet tranquility.
I can’t stand it... I like to dance , and I don’t like to watch bouncy videos.. therefore; I live in the dang moment and enjoy every second! It’s so insane to see everyone record and stand.
the intro to Glue here sounds a bit like Nils Frahm. Their performance as a whole reminded in bits of Chemical Brothers and Orbital. They are their own sound though. Loved the whole thing. They are right up there on my list to see.
I personally love this version. It's so much more atmospheric. I know what you mean though. Apricots was when they decided to let go though right after.
Apricots is where it started for me. Heard it on the radio. Never looked back. Drawn in big time. These are monsters. Saw me through pandemic and beyond.
@@urmumsbaps I've been a huge fan of this music for years now and those three are still consistently producing some of the best of what the genre has to offer imo, don't be a snob. [Or if you insist, please share your wisdom at least :) ]
Been having such a rough time lately and I ate a little shroom, probably less than 1.5g the other night and didnt expect much, got my whole world rocked and bicep came on and took me on a spiritaul release journey. I love you guys so much. Keep being beautiful in this ugly dark world
fucking hell, wonderful the original Glue music video (and the YT comments on it) are perfection, every new performance and slightly altered presentation of the tracks helps build out the fantastic dimensions of this pieces of music
That part at 10:35 after Apricots is done is absolutely stunning euphoric. It is some sound out of this dimension and my true favorite Bicep tune, up with Meli ii. I cant't wait to see these fellas live one day. I hope one day you will come to Norway!
Who’s here for the drop at 9.22 jeez love this remember dancing to it in the summer in my garden in lock down under my gazebo with the fairly lights on ❤❤❤
No shiting on the younger generation but it's frightening how much at a gig/festival people need to have they're phone out man just try and enjoy the moment it never feels as great when you watch back the video on your phone anyway live it
Sat in the garden, spring sun in my face, sunnies on, good ear phones, eyes closed, having a smoke....could be back there .....can't wait for 2023 festival ❤
Glastonbury what a experience this year. Hey so emotional watching these videos. Gives me goosebumps. Thanks for everyone at Glastonbury making it an amazing time. The one festival I go to where everyone just wants to have a good time❤️❤️❤️
3:06 when everybody has their phones out is kinda cringe. Such a beautiful song and six people right next to each other all looking down texting someone. Ok dude.
I will never understand the morbid desire to cling to a mobile phone when you could be having a great time instead. If you are trying to electronically capture the moment you ain't doing it right. Let go
Looks amazing ! Just feel a little disappointed when it zooms in on crowd members who, even at the front, are looking at the mobile phones … checking the video or photo settings I assume rather than browsing Autotrader but still , it does take away from the vibe a little
