😊👍 An interesting mix of both bona-fide classic vehicles, and possible future 🔮 modern classic cars. Some of them take me back to wonderful memories of my childhood. Hard to pick an overall favorite among them.....

When you stop and think about the values it’s incredible isn’t it?

The Saab pickup looks like it's based on a 95 which was the estate version of the 96. The rear light design layout gives it away. The 95 was a 3 door so would have been a good donor for such a conversion. Great selection of cars here, thanks. 👍🏼

@@Lot76CARS it looked stock, some good fabrication work I think.

I really like the Imp. There seems to be a bit of a following for them these days in much the same way as there is the mini.which incidentally is probably the reason the Imp wasn't more successful. The 246 Dino is stunning and these days prices are high considering they were very much the junior Ferrari of their day. You are absolutely right about the phase 2 Clio V6 being taken back in house. I believe a few changes were made from the original TWR cars including changes to the wheelbase as well as another 20 bhp from it's 3.0 24v V6. A rare sight to see one with that leather interior, I forget the name of the trim option pack that it was part of Honda S800 is so rare. I certainly have never seen one up close. Phase 1 Pug 106 rally is a great spot with its high revving 1.3 litre engine and close ratio gearbox. I still think those Porsche 928 look so modern, it's hard to believe they date back to the 70's. That Maserati looks every bit the 70's concept car even to this day I'm with you on that Lotus Elite, stunning. The R16 I think was the first hatchback before the Austin Maxi.

Love an Imp too, I nearly bought one as a first car but that’s as close as I got. The Clio V6 is such an iconic design… nobody would bankroll mad projects like this these days sadly…

The Maserati is a Khamsin, not a Kyalami, it’s written on the boot lid! All Khamsins had the glass rear panel, US spec cars had the tail lights mounted below the glass panel, rest of the world spec cars had them mounted within the glass panel as seen on the example in the video

Thanks for correcting me, I got a bit carried away with that tailgate and accuracy suffered. Apologies!

Hi Simon. Highlight for me was the Renault 16 at the end of the video. Apparently I viewed another car show channel and there was a Renault 16 TX in it. The person who was doing the commentary stated that the 16 TX is very rare. There weren't many made.

I just happened to bump into the owner as I was filming, I can’t believe I’ve seen two in the same colour! A car ahead of its time.

@@Lot76CARS Yes , the design was very advanced. French cars were like that in the past. Take the Citroen CV 2 and the DS model.

Thanks for featuring my 190E. It's a 180 mile round trip for me but well worth it. It's great to see such a variety of cars. It's the only event I have gone to where I don't get round to seeing everything there is to see.

Reference Monteverdi. My favourite toy car from the 70s was a Monteverdi Hai in orange. Also Danny Wilde (Tony Curtis) in The Persuaders drove the Dino.

@@79devo . Used to play "Top Trumps" at school. Seems to recall that was best or near best at something or other.
