kewl will check it out,i was thinking of the 2 wheeler first to,but the more i think about it,the option of making a unit that bolts to rear swing arm of my custom bomber style bike that turns it into a 3 wheel trike with the hitch and pivot for camper on riser style base between the 2 rear trike wheels ,so it will basically illiminate a tow arm all together ,i can make so i can remove the bike and that unit stays connected to the camper when want to put single rear wheel back onmost bikes and campers with tow arms seem to end up around the 21 foot mark @@ED3
because im traveling some really remote areas ,im working on redundency atm ,and finishing up building a m9icro generator out of 24 cc chainsaw motor and a 50 volt 25 amp generator with dual 40 amp dc to dc converters and high output HHO dry cell generator unit ,so ill be able to run the rig directlyif the appocolypse 12 days of darkness happens haha,im still going to put dual hub motors on 2 of the campers 4 rear wheels,i even did some reasearch on using arduino or new rasp pie to have the camper set up with sensors ,so that it will just follow at set distace instead of tow arm, and its supprisingly easy to set up,theres couple ultrasonic sensors some ir trans and recievers couple hbridge stepper drivers for steering,another designer said should just use 2 xbox 360 cameras or basic lidar so only have to put symbol like a square with cross inside and it will follow it@@ED3
ps just something i sorted out putting together the solar system too,all ways go for mptt the pwm chargers just dont work with bike campers as they need full panel output to activate even with low light the mtpp with agregate enough power from all the panels to be able the minimum volts for dc to dc boost converters as ill need 84-85 volt min to charge system
if you ever need a hand as in wiring circuit diagrams,or power systems just let me know id be happy to help as i build custom high end ebikes nowdays just finishing off one ,where all the cells are in solution ,its using 3m dilectric coolant ,its also pumped thropugh the 2 controllers,and usess little 2 fan pc radiator under the bike,the battery also has big supa capacitor pack in parralaell with 84 volt x 20p batterythe controllers are 2 unlocked sabvoton svmc 7245 units ,and upgraded the fets to units handle 150 to 200 amp all day while still being really smallfront motor is rewound bafang 500watt front hub motor on 26 inch rim and rear is crystalyte hs4065rd upgraded sensors and wires on 26 inch rim,modified the rear suspension so its like motor bike now uses linkage type ,so can be jumped etchaving those supa caps in tyhere parralell makes charging way way quicker and greatly increases to regen power recouped close to 50% more no kidding as the caps only take 10-15 seconds to fully charge and work like a huge buffer
Okay, for the last ten years I’ve envisioned building a solid out trailer. The rail trails in my neck of the wood have Bullard that stop cars and atvs so I’m limited on width. The best I can do is the teardrop I’ve been using for the last couple of years, it works well and I can carry gear for several weeks on the road, but I’m getting tired of sleeping in a tent honestly. Weight, stress on my e-bikes mid drive have always stopped me from building one so I’m super curious about this build. Slide outs have always made sense to me so I’m happy this channel,was suggest to me. I’ll sub and follow along with interest for real.
