Yeah, agreed! Had to take into the peds and this was a learning project as I have a motorcycle sidecar to fit :D

Nice build. You can add an electric motor to the trailer to help on hills.

It did, but it was an experiment and I learnt alot... Its no longer with us because I've stripped it for parts!!

@Oberstfeldmeister As I learnt with this build and the numerous experts at hand, the more weight on the sidecar the more stable it is.... On some motorbikes, if you have a heavy bike then place a concret block under the sidecar platform to help with control and stability. I built this as a learning experience before buuilding a motorcycle one...

line your rear wheels up. it makes them steer much better. i discovered that after my second one.

Put an electric motor on it and you would have it all. This just shows that if you imagine it then you can build it.

quick question, when faced with a flat tire in the rear wheel how are you going to change the tube? great experiment though.

Get yourself an in hub electric motor for the back tire put a battery pack in the dolly with a finger push throttle. ; )

'ey Up Gothtec. Did you make any mods to this at all? I'm wondering if you ended up moving the the sidecar wheel further so it had lead instead of trailing the rear wheel - I think that would have helped tremendously with the steering.

@Gothtecdotcom Lower the center of gravity the more stable. The bike must weigh quite a bit.

Hacks handle better w both back wheels lined up. But you'll be fine..

I don't think the weight distribution is well displaced. there is no adjustable tongue weight, no sidewalk or narrow paths, I doubt the bicycle frame could handle to much stress. I admire your working out your plan and using what you have to work with. I love your spirit!
