Ah yes the famous GTR scalpers who are on the hunt to buy all the skylines. No wonder supply and demand are stuffed up when a single company hoards hundreds of them and dictates prices. Not a fan of such business practises.

Looking at the "rust issues" on that silvia had me rolling. Between salting our roads in the winter and the salt brine on the dirt roads to the cottage, my truck's frame had more surface rust than that before it was a year old!

Sam that yellow sti is super clean do not rally it. They are worth big dollars now in Aus and still climbing. FYI the inlet manifold is wrinkle red from factory.

My 2nd PS13 was bought within the UK as it's been here a few years, and GBP prices are 18-22k at the moment. Back in 2013ish when I bought my 1st PS13, the price from the importer was 6k.... They are skyrocketing with ferocious leaps every year. About 5k increments in the last 3 years Edit: love the new video, so cool to see so many rare and classic jdm cars, and 4x4s. Thank you to Garage Defend for letting Sam tag along 😎👌

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any more....:-((

Great video Sammit!! And yeah, you spied the 22B very well. People used to laugh, but I was all, "Subaru have something lovely about them, especially the 2.2L" and now you see the 22B locked up next to supercars :P I loved my EJ22T-powered Leggy! Especially after it was completely restored and it got fresh forged pistons and rods. A forged internals EJ22T is just a magical engine and they sound soooo good at full chat!

I'm so glad I got my R33 V spec spec year's ago now. Was really cheap. My Brain keeps telling me to sell it because what they are worth. Mine is all original. Mk 3 or 4 supra over new one.

I've got a 90' z32 and yes it does have that 80s/90s interior smell! With a hint of squash :P

Personally I would choose the older Supra for single reason that I will always want a manual transmission for a sports car plus the condition of that older Supra really isn’t that bad like it’s not full of rust and for a proper drivers car you don’t want it to be immaculate or than your not going to want to drive it (Also out of all of the Supra’s my favorite is the mk3 anyway)

As a Nissan tech at Nissan in Missouri z32 are a beautiful car but everytime some one brings one to us at the dealer its a Russian roulette for who ever had to work on it! Keep up the vids Sam love seeing all the classics we don't have here.

My kid just bought the cheapest R32 Skyline in the US! It wasn’t running but I got it up and going in 5min. It was imported before it was legal here so it’s licensed as a 240 SX 😂 When he went to register it they wouldn’t change it to a skyline. Oh well. Keep up the great content! Peace

You said it yourself the MR2 is woefully underrated. Might be time to change that. Maybe turn one into a missile/practice car for the wife. Perfect excuse to by a cheap one. I think having her own car will make her more comfortable with things doing what they do, and going wrong. She won't have to feel like she is costing you seat time. Maybe that or an Rx8? You did recently say you wanted a rotary. Although you were looking at an Rx7

I love the r32 over the 33 an 34 but over all it’s between the r30 and hakosuka for me. I would get away from the skylines in general.

So happy I bought an S15 last year. Spec R - Aero. I have to wait until 2024 to actually own it but I'm glad I pulled the trigger, bought one and paid for the 3 years of storage in Japan. As it gets closer to legal importation into the US, prices will continue to skyrocket. If anyone is serious about importing an RHD JDM, buy one now and have it stored in Japan. Once they get into the US, prices will be easily 1-2.5X higher. Just look at how ridiculous the R34 has become in just the last 2 years.
