President Biden's new immigration policy was met with confusion and criticism, especially among migrants, as it went into effect Wednesday. The new order authorizes immigration officials at the southern border to deport large numbers of migrants without processing their asylum claims. CBS News correspondent Lilia Luciano has more.

That is conditioning American people to think it is normal and all good. This migration is a war tactic to bring down our Country. Even the biggest boat that starts taking on water is going to sink. If it's 2500 per state that's Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Calif, 10,000 a day... Joe didn't write this thing to actually have to enforce it... Every illegal migrant I have seen anywhere in major cities all have phones. They know what’s going on they watch the news constantly. I have a diabetic family member that is having an extremely hard time finding their medication. Most pharmacies say they’re out of it because most migrants are diabetic and now they’ve come to our country to seek medical help. I cannot deny anybody medical help but the government should make allowances for this. If my relative doesn’t get her medication in the next two days we’re gonna have to take her to the ER. There again cost more money. Last time we were at ER in a major city it was crowded to the max people standing outside to get in. You can’t introduce people into the population and not to wait in line for any medical resources.

@@Gen3rickIf you as American, yes, this affects us directly. Our taxes, state and federal, our schools (educating one illegal child is between $14k-$20k per year. Our healthcare and hospitals suffer. Our food banks. Housing was already hard to find, affordably and adding millions makes it all the more impossible.

I used to lean left, but all this is such a waste of Americans' tax dollars. I didn't work all my life and pay taxes so that people who came here illegally could be rewarded and have a better life without even contributing a cent to taxes. You put in the hard work and eventually get rewarded in the end. That's the AMERICAN way! I could never see myself voting for someone like Donald Trump before, but I assure you, millions of other people like me who are usually on the fence when it comes to politics are going to be forced to vote for him.

This is such a slap in the face to Americans and migrants that came here legally. My grandma is from Berlin, Germany, she married my American grandfather and STILL had to go through Ellis island, take many tests, and pay fees. She worked here, paid taxes, owned a home. I worked 2 jobs nearly my whole young adult life, paid a mass number in taxes, and always owed at the end of the year. Now I have a baby and only able to work part time and receive 0 help. Never voted in my life and just registered last night, Trump 1000% has my vote.
