President Biden delivered remarks about the state of the U.S. economy Tuesday after announcing dramatic new increases to tariffs on Chinese EVs, semiconductors, solar cells and more. The tariffs are the latest move by the White House to keep China from undercutting U.S. companies and threatening U.S. manufacturing jobs.
