I used to work 60 hours/week until I had stage 4 cancer 8 years ago. Suddenly I realized I needed to live my life because I never know when it will be over. I got a job working remote living at the place where I used to vacation. Could I make more money? Sure. But now I work to live not live to work.
Well Trump like us doesn't know how this all will shake down. Hard for me to imagine that Biden will survive the push back. IMO China Joe is gambling with his life as some of these people that he is disobeying are dangerous and could resort to violence to get their way.
@MrBabyaker What's the point of attacking when the entire party is self destructing on it's own. He has plenty of other things to focus on his own campaign. The debate already happened and they so low in the polls that he could win by a landslide right now. No candidate has ever won an election with such low polling numbers. It would be like beating a dead horse at this moment.
My father was at Iwo Jima and witness both flags raised. He survived and lived to be 83 years old. he passed away in 2003 live long enough to see 911 towers fall. I am thankful he is not alive to see the horrible condition of this country and what is going on. This also makes me think about Jeremiah Denton who was the man who blinked morse code TORTURE in the Hanoi Hilton in Vietnam. Spent seven years and they created a tiny little flag that they hid from the Vietcong guards. The POW prisoners would salute it in the middle of the night in the Hanoi Hilton! The worst POW camp imaginable. Here is a quote from Jeremiah Denton The Soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag & whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag -Jerimiah Denton
Yep everything you said is true about him! Just saying I was raised if it sounds to good to be true Beware. He is a Lil Obama sounds like him & even has the hand gestures like him so just close your eyes and listen to his wording. How many have promised us things they have never come through on most all of them. Again Vivek is very smart & very smooth. Government control is so much bigger than the one leader. Praying for the Good ole USA & all the Leaders in this World Lord help us!
Oh no Adam...under trump my husband and I were able to afford TWICE the Food! We had a $600 food budget a month and we were doing very well...now our food budget is $800 (our income didn't go up) and we get less than half of the food and the quality we used to get under Trump. So don't tell me it's been like this for decades...NO IT HASN'T!
I love the way you love Jen. You're a good example to others about what it means to take vows and keep them. I watched her video about her life. A beautiful lady - and your children are SO blessed to have her as a mom and you as their dad. .
Yea, and even when you could afford it, its still BS when you think of it. Spend an entire year working, so you can spend 2 weeks of your life going somewhere else, just to come back to your regular life and do it all over again. The whole system is just a carrot on a stick for most of us.
I had to cancel my vacation plans this year because of the potato in charge. I've been signing up for as much overtime as I can get just to get out of a hole thanks to this guy.
After we both spent 1 enlistment in the Marine Corps, my husband and I met after we both came home to Texas. We had nothing but our GI bills, minimum wage jobs, and a $500/month apartment. My ring was $700, our wedding was $5000 tops on a Sunday afternoon followed by work in the morning. That was 13 years ago. Today I homeschool our 3 wonderful sons in our 2000sqft suburb house, within walking distance of our church. We love our life, and wouldn't change a thing.
I'm in Texas as well, homeschool mom that lives on family farm. I had a $100 dollar ring and we drove to Colorado with our travel trailer and married ourselves in the mountain. We spent like $400 on the whole trip. That was 30 yrs ago. Life works so much better when you aren't chasing money and just work with what you have. We have our 14 yr old twin boys left at home. All of our kids have a huge work ethic but their faith and family is always first. They all are 1st responders or nurses. Thank yall for your service ❤
I love that PBD has his kids write a report after the book. I do this with my kids over summer break. My oldest is 17, and almost has his associates because he has been doing duel enrollment classes since his freshman year. Best thing we've ever done for our kids. 👏❤️
PBD, you Totally Underestimate Vivek’s Ability in Communication to Unite All & Moving into the Futures for this Dividend Country Now !! Vivek is at or above Reagan & Obama Communicators Level 🙏👍⭐️😇
I don't have anything against Tim Scott, but if Lindsay Graham is pushing for him that's a flat no. Lindsay Graham is neo-con warmonger. If he wants Scott as VP that says something about Scott. I hope Trump picks Tulsi Gabbard.
Aside from our reception, I spent under $100 for my wedding. Only $50 on my dress, and $35 on flowers. We had an outdoor wedding. My Dad nearly fainted when he got the check for our meal at a nice restaurant (13 people) for a sit-down meal.
That wall texture behind PBD is driving me crazy...it looks like someone was too lazy to put wire inside the wall and just mud and paint over it, haha.
He has quite a few modern art type paintings in his beautiful house. Looks like a classroom full of toddlers spilled different paint colors and tried to wipe it up. But I’m sure that they are very expensive.
Got eloped in Las Vegas, went on a road trip, and attended two concerts-best decision ever. We saved a lot and had a blast. Our rings cost about $150 each. We are in good financial shape and want to keep it that way. Keeping up with the Joneses never made sense to me. We are able to go on another concert road trip from California to Las Vegas. We used points and credit card perks, like Amex FHR, to save money on food. After utilizing our perks, the hotels for a week will cost us maybe $300. The flight was the most expensive part, but we were fine with it since we saved money elsewhere. We are very blessed and grateful. We scaled back our expenses during Joe Biden’s term because we saw the writing on the wall, and it has been another great decision.
Thank you Patrick!! This goes towards your conversation of bosses panicking. I've been a part of raising 3 different kids, not my own. After awhile of working to gain their trust so they knew i truly cared about them, I would tell them "here's the deal you are either gonna love and respect me now, when you are 13, or you are gonna love and respect me when you're 25. I'm gonna put my money on you hating me know! Cuz if I do all the things that make you love and respect now, cuz i buy you things, let you do whatever you want, you'll hate me when you're 25! If you hate me now, you'll love me when you're 25 cuz I'll have taught you what you need to know to handle your life on your own!
@@kstrazz3552 yes, and they’re against using the first amendment to call for the death of the country that ensures these rights. Being against inciting violent destruction of our nation doesn’t mean being against freedom of speech, there are limitations.
Hey I'm from Everett. I have a job at Fluke and can barely afford my apartment and normal living expenses. I'm 35 and want to buy a house but it seems impossible
Married same ages as you guys lol no purses and stuff, but computers and things like that between us instead since we like gaming and all that 😂 our marriage was under a covered bridge in simple, everyday black clothing we aleady owned, my mom spent $60 on my nails 😆 I picked out my own ring for $150, a short stay in a local Victorian B&B for our honeymoon which thankfully was only booked by us! Still in our first home bought for 150k, almost a decade ago, after saving a lot (no mortgage), a single used car, and no kids yet because we're working on moving/making business plans to really solidify our income and start seriously family planning.
@@amilke3584can be soul draining but you have to pinch every penny, look for every discount possible, coupon codes, off-brand items, pretty much no fun or good stuff ever lol only spending what you absolutely have to. Nothing else. I picked up a lot of extra shifts, worked in factories 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, etc. It's really shitty but you will see your savings start rising
Rent for a 1 bedroom in a SMALL town is HALF of income at $26 an hour. At 35, marriage and family is no longer possible as Millennial women want OLD men, and dating younger women is a Biblical abomination. There's nothing for most American men to live for. The future DOES NOT look bright.

Honestly, this video format was really cool. It was neat being able to see everyone the entire time (as opposed to the usual cuts between people) Tom looked so happy over there in his shorts :D
By the way, I like Sarah Huckabee Sanders for VP. No one could 'get' to her when she was his Press Secretary, and had such class. In Arkansas she's solid as Governor.
I am more into 4 day work weeks. Longer days with more work hours but you get the 3 days off. This will help people with making more babies and actually taking care of them. I understand their point with work from home, though
@@hleedina5567Having options is good. I personally hate four long days. The three days off are just spent resting, can’t enjoy, but whatever is more productive for different individuals should be allowed.
@@E.B_buddy grouping leftists with Palestine supporters is grossly ignorant and you know this. Not all leftists are in support of burning American flags. Most are not.
I think there’s two “project 2025s”. One that is put together by the heritage foundation and one that the democrats are peddling. Similar to the “don’t say gay” bill, the democrats are saying there’s a bunch of stuff in there that’s not in there so my conclusion is they must be talking about a different project 2025; one that they made up to fear monger and that’s the one Trump is distancing himself from. “Project 2025” is such a generic name. It could refer to any number of projects for the year 2025.
about the burning the flag. I was at my parents house over the weekend. My Mom had called a couple of VA organizations because they have a flag that is worn out and not in good shape. She did not know what to do. They honestly told her to burn the flag in a respectful manner. My Mom was in awe and could not believe her ears. After telling us the story she asked us if we would. My family has had at least 2 people serve in wars or the Military in some capacity since WW1 in every generation. Not a single one of us, I never served, would even consider burning the Flag. I
I chose Tulsi the minute she pulled out of the dnc. Independent, smart, common sense, and knows the military. She would be best even to enlarge the vote. Love her!
Tulsi Gabbard is so perfect for the job. She speaks to women, she’s a female of color, very politically savvy, career in the military, Strong on free speech, extremely patriotic, she speaks so eloquently . She left the Democratic Party bc she could no longer tolerate their lies! She’s the perfect Ying to the yang!
I've got all the hosts beat... I got a $1200 ring, just a band and a diamond. 2k for the wedding, we had it in my brother in law's backyard, just friends and family who also did all the cooking. No honeymoon. Ever. All that money went to a house. That's how you do it.
Thanks guys for bringing in Tulsi's name back into the VP conversation. She IS THE BEST by far candidate for VP. What a UNIFIER ticket that would be!!!! She checks ALL the boxes. What an amazing woman.....eloquent, smart, experienced, anit war, pro Military, ...WE THE PEOPLE America first constitutionalist Patriot. I could go on, warm, fact based, from the heart......inspiring.......I hope from the heart, Trump chooses Tulsi!!!!!
PBD demonstrated how out of touch he is today. "Work-life balance doesn't mean anything. You should just work 24/7." While they do a podcast with them all very clearly still on vacation. I'm sick and tired of these millionaires and billionaires saying crap like this and then doing the exact opposite. Imagine how fast Valuetainment would collapse if Pat went into work on Monday, and told his employees they no longer get sick days, vacation time, no holidays, and they had to work from 6am - 9pm. Every last person would quit that day and he'd be hit with so many lawsuits he'd collapse from the sheer weight. Yet him and Tom wanna run out from their vacation spots and tell their viewers, "You gotta work all the time" Even the work from home stuff, they're all sitting there saying "Don't work from home or remotely" while they're, you guessed it, working from home/remotely. This is something y'all really need to stop doing because not only are you not currently practicing what you preach, but I can guarantee neither of them practiced it when they were building their businesses.
Yeah definitely put a nasty taste in my mouth. That entire segment felt extremely disconnected from any idea of what life is like for the average person right now. Very self inflating, felt exactly like hearing a modern politician or the mainstream media talk about our lives and why they suck. Yuck
It total BS by crazy Rich people. Some jobs don't need to be at the office. Driving 2 hours each way to the office is so 2019... is not a good life.. most people can't afford to buy or rent decent housing within 20 min from office.
Vivek Ramaswamy needs to be VP. Trump is so dominant on the ticket, the VP pick is irrelavant strategically. Go for a true new conservative like vivek or Tulsi
Hell yea, thats the best. I imagine at the price, it was probably a more intimate event (not too showy, and just a few close family and friends in attendance)
My husband and I got married on the beach near our house with our parents and siblings there and didn’t spend a dollar. We are going on 15 years next month and I love him now more than I did then. I fall in love with that man more and more and the days pass ❤️
I disagree with the notion that staying at home and working is a bad idea. My wife cannot work from home, and if I had to go into the office, it would hinder her pursuit of becoming an optometrist. We have a 2-year-old who was born at 27 weeks and spent 82 days in the NICU. Additionally, working from home allows me to get closer to my goal of writing a novel, as I save time on commuting. Affordable housing is far from the city, making commuting even less practical. The views expressed by the PBD podcast don't resonate with me. They may make sense for new college graduates or those focused on climbing the corporate ladder, but my goal is to retire as soon as possible to spend more time with my family. It hurts when my daughter asks for me while I'm stuck in meetings. Many corporate jobs feel unfulfilling, filled with endless meetings and busywork. The real solution is to run organizations better, eliminate waste, and inspire employees with a compelling vision. Micromanaging is counterproductive and doesn't contribute to a positive work environment.
I worked for free with my own website for four years and I have always believed our movement has to be as volunteer as possible. Don't turn your advocacy into a business venture. That leads to conflicts of interest arrising. The elites own the money supply. we have to find another way
I love you Pat!!! You always the best!!! Burning our flag is an absolute disgrace. Too many Americans have died for all of Us as Americans!!! God Bless AMERICA!!! PAT , I love your position on the penalty for burning our flag.
It is a piece of cloth, nothing more. People who burn the flag are just using their freedom of speech. I don’t know about you, but granting government more power taking away freedoms is something the right accuses the left of doing.
My husband and I got married at the courthouse on July 3rd in Steamboat Springs Colorado and then floated the Yampa River. It was the greatest!! Weddings are such a waste of money.
TULSI IS MY #1 PICK. As an Independent woman, this would absolutely change everything for me - I could vote for Trump/Gabbard only. Otherwise I am for RFK, JR.
This is exactly why I would not want Trump to choose Tulsi. You would rather vote for another progressive left (RFK) which speaks volumes your support of Tulsi. Republican party does not need a homeless Democrat running with our MAGA President.
Yeah, I don’t really understand the disdain for it. I don’t work from home but I’d rather take that than have to deal with traffic and workplace jerkoffs.
Prices have gotten so bad that I have started raising our own chickens, ducks, and pigs. I may currently be animal poor but at least we'll have some meat. I have 4 kids and 1 on the way. I make 6.24 more per hour now than I did in 2019 when my husband and I bought our house. I miss the Trump economy. We struggle so much more now. These gas prices are insane! We both drive 50 minutes one way to work. Im beyond frustrated with our current administration.
Yeah... WHATEVER Pat on your work-from-home bash. It depends on the type of Job. It's not easy to drive 2 hours each way to the office... People can't afford a house close to the office centers in all Metros... LA, OC, SF, Silicon Valley, Seatle, Miami, NY, Austin... a young person under 33 years if single I guess yeah... someone 35+ with a family 2-3 kids will take the work from home in an instant... forget promotions... no amount of money will help the 4 hour commute a day and the wasted time when you have a family.
