What we really desperately need is for more (it really should be ALL, frankly) women in MY "demographic" to do the right thing this year (as we did NOT back in 2016)! Back then, 98% of Black women turned out for Hillary. 67% of Hispanic women turned out for Hillary. BUT a *majority* of White women ... 47% ... voted for the adulterous, "grab 'em by the p***y" RAPIST, while only 45% voted for the woman who would have been an extraordinarily good president. If she had been (rightly) elected, the world would be a very different (far better, IMHO) place right now.

Well, it's more realistic to expect it to happen on online media, because the MSM networks seem to be studiously ignoring it. Once it gets online, they may or may not follow, because of seeing it's big news-- but it's going to be up to the oligarch media owners to decide that. The thing that encourages me is that I see so many people turning away from what MSM media has shown itself to be, openly, and heading toward online news that does real, actual journalism. That Biden is bringing this kind of media into more prominence and legitimacy will help, too. I believe "legacy" media is in a death spiral, although I really hope something can be done about truly local news media to support it.

I think one of the good things to happen out of the debate is that a lot of us are realizing that "mainstream" media is basically opinionated propaganda masquerading as news, with some a few bits of actual journalism thrown in for padding and optics. They've made that super obvious in the last week. And I hope they notice the drop in numbers and subscriptions. I think honest online ACTUAL journalism is the news of the future.
