It’s not she said how she felt and it didn’t land properly so now she have to walk it back. She meant what she said she believes that most black people in the Bronx is poor and stupid. We shouldn't be sending any assistance to Isreal. They have one of the largest militaries in the world. I want to say it's the 5th largest on the planet, yet they need U.S. help? Makes no logical sense, but it really shows who runs this country!

Hell, it's only that large because of our tax dollars in the first place. The IDF quite literally wouldn't have ever existed if it weren't for America and the genocidal Zionist State of Israel wouldn't exist. The State of Israel isn't about protecting the Jewish diaspora and has actively harmed them for generations. Claiming all of this is in defense of the Jewish people disgustingly and unjustly tags them with the bloody handprints of the IDF. In my work for refugees and in support of Palestinians some of THE strongest supporters of Palestinians have been Jewish people. I've been at numerous events hosted by synagogues in support of Palestine with rabbi praying along with them. Netanyahu and Biden have killed more people in under a year than Trump did in his entire administration. There are no winners in this year's election accept those who aren't at risk either way.

I used to be a "fan" of Charlamagne. But his constant and consistent disparaging remarks about Black people of a lighter hue, joking or not, have become ridiculous. They are divisive and are hold overs from a time when we, Black folks, were pitted against each other by those who intended to oppress us. For him to claim to be pro Black or Blessed, Black and highly favored all the time, he sure is doing his part to divide us. And hiding behind it as humor doesn't take away from what he's doing. Colorism, whether it's light toward dark or dark toward light, is negative, and it is one of the things that we still allow to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. For such a smart Black man, he looks like a clown when he speaks that way about our people. In my opinion anyway...

That changed one day when I finally stood up for myself. To this day, that person harbors resentment towards me simply because I dared to defend myself.

Unpopular opinion: considering the context of the conversation, when the governor made her statement, I interpreted it the way she came back and explained. It didn’t even occur to me that she was trying to say that she thinks that black children don’t know what computers are. Yes, she could have stated better, but sometimes I think we have to stop bleeding into what someone said when it is very obvious what they meant. This feels like fake outrage.
