The tax bracket. If the tax break ends, the tax bracket from 11,600-47000 goes from 12% to 15% and the bracket for $47,000 goes from 22% to 25%. So someone making 75,000 would pay an extra $1,062 for the 15% tier and an extra $840 for the $47,000 tier. For a total of $1920 total. This is a sample of no kids in the family. The bracket is different depending on how many children are in the family.
