Im not democrat or republic, i vote for the person I think will be best, unfortunately we dont always have the best choice, i reluctantly voted for Hillary in 2016 in a last second decision at the polls just because of her experiance and I seen how the media was going to go after Trump and wasnt sure how good of a job he would do, I later regretted that decision. True admitting ones mistakes Are not a sign of weakness, but its a sign of strengh the moment you acknowledge regret and mistake shows that you Are not running away from truth. Most people Are running away from truth and dont want to hear it since it goes against their pride. Pride equals weakness since it blocks your way of improvement to become better. Mistakes Are not a bad Thing but a good thing since it indicates that you have work to do in that department of your judgement and understanding. Only by mistakes can you improve on the topic without acknowledgement of the mistake the only path left is down. I have been a lifelong Democrat. I moved to Arizona in January of 2017 from Manhattan New York City; you cannot be more Democrat than that. but but upon arriving here, seeing the environment and how people treat one another along with the cost of living.. I was shocked. In New York City I made almost $25 an hour, My wife made close to that and we struggled to pay our rent and many times struggled to make end's meet at those wages. We lived in a 2 bedroom apartment which wasn't too big in public housing. We did not own a car, we couldn't afford one. We took the Subway and bus all our lives. We get to Arizona; I make $11 an hour which was like a heart attack. But a double heart attack ended up occurring when I was making $11 an hour, my wife was making $13 an hour and we were approved for a 3 story town home and we also had 2 automobiles. This totally destroyed my world view in terms of politics as I understood it. It made me look into the history of the Republican party and into the history of the Democratic Party. What I ended up realizing is that I've always had Republican values, but because I was poor, the slogan was always; democrats are for the poor and republicans are only for the rich. From my own experience I encourage everyone to look into the history of both parties As I did and I can tell you without wavering I will never ever be a Democrat again; not because republicanism is perfect we have RINOS there too But the core values are universal You will be shocked at what you find out.

New York city isn't the same environment as New York state. Most over crowded major cities are similar. I don't think I could sacrifice my ethics because urban life differed from life in the suburbs. I live outside the Atlanta metro area and the cost of living is reasonable. Wherever you go in the US, the healthcare industry will be predatory, taxes will be diverted from social programs including those geared toward helping children in poverty, and you will never be in a crowded place without fear of being shot.
