Big Agnes Pumphouse Ultra Sleeping Pad Pump Review 

I extend the light gray portion out and use it to trap more air in the Pumphouse. Basically doubles the amount of air I can pump in.

Nice review, thanks. I could see using this as a replacement for the dry sack that I put my sleeping bag in. As you stated, it's a dual purpose bit of kit, and I like that.

While the info was decent, it took me a grand total of 10 seconds to figure out why my pump house ultra was "duel lined". It should have been common sense that it was to expand the size of the pump so it would take a lot less effort and time to fill out the bag.

You know there’s an inner bag that makes it open up way more and get way more air, right

I use mine as a clothing bag which usually means just sleep clothing. I then stuff my day clothing in and it becomes a great pillow. The material is soft enough, I don't feel the need to wrap it in anything. Because it does triple duty for me, I do take it light backpacking. My base weight is about 17 lbs.

that's nice. what size do you think an big agnes echo park 40 extra long and nemo 3d extra long sleeping pad would fit into? 20, 30l dry sack? thx!

I have been using this pump with the Air Core pad, now the pump has started to delaminate around the opening, any field fix suggestions?

Do you actually carry an air pump/bag to fill up your pad on the trail?

This was painful to watch, the pump sack opens to about twice the volume you had it here. You just hadn't expanded it completely.
