I liked what you said about small stores not being worthwhile, but I think it depends on what type of game you are playing. In any standard game where you are trying to buy lots of shops and open 20, 50 or 80 businesses, then yes, I agree that the smaller shops are not what you need. On the other hand, if playing with a couple of SIMPLE BUT DIFFICULT RULES, then you really need those small shops to get going, and sometimes, even they are too expensive in the wrong street or the wrong part of town. One of the settings I use for this difficult game is to have ZERO funds to start, 365 days in year, and 1.0 for the negative bank and 10% tax rate. the other rule I apply is NO BANK LOANS ALLOWED.... none at all at any time during the game. It's a slow game... it's a frustrating game.... it's a difficult game.... but it can be done and it is really rewarding if you make it under those rules.

hey! thanks for the comment! sure, if you're going for a game where you "nuzlocke" yourself into not getting any bank loans and other self-made rules, then I will agree that small shops will come in handy to get you started. The purpose of this video was more to understand the performance of each shop and to help make better decisions when beginning a "default" game. But everyone is free to play how they seem fit/more fun for them XD.

Hold on a sec You said you cant fit 16 clothing racks in a1 store? I just posted a blueprint for that Spent night to dusk trying to fit sll of that

I believe there might be some misunderstanding on your part 😊I never said you cannot fit 16 clothing racks in a small store. In the beginning of the video 0:33, I mentioned that I've used the blueprint functionality to achieve a uniform and accurate result for all clothing stores in this test. I did not design them myself especially for this reason. You have to remember that the stores also need to look appealing to the public and stacking 16 racks into a small shop will definitely not look ideal and you would most likely have to compromise on decorations/customer pathing/number of cashiers to make it happen. Also, I don't know if 16 racks will add any benefits to a small shop since the total customer capacity per day is rather low - it might be overkill. At the end of the day, we are all entitled to play as we want to - there is no right or wrong answer as long as your achieving the results you want 🤗

well, size can play an important role in how your business is looking. for example, I personally don't see a hairdresser business happening in an 1000sqm building. It also may not be ideal for some businesses
