Negative interest rates are really basic economics: if people keep to much money in the bank accounts, demand goes down, prices go down, deflation, profit further sinks,.... So with negative interest rates the bank encourages you to spend that savings, demand goes up, prices go up, light inflation, and a growing economy. The game seems to use negative interest rates to keep you expanding your business in a way national banks do. Quite clever in a way. Hope this can answer your question.

Negative interest rates happen if you don’t spend your money… buying cars, gambling and buying product from your stores help. If you have nothing else to buy add your money into stocks and you won’t won’t get negative interest. Btw, this only occurs every Sunday nights/Monday mornings. Side note, i bought this game this week because of your last video on it. It’s really fun playing this.

More frequent uploads would keep us engaged in the series, big gaps in between uploads cause a lot of disconnect and most of the series I stopped watching mid way due to 2-3 week gap per episode. just a feedback, thank you for the great series.

Loving the series, as always. One thing I've learned by watching your videos is pricing. I was always setting mine below market value, figuring it'd pull in more customers if we were cheap. It seems that isn't a good strategy and doesn't really help anything.

Granted I haven't watched the whole video yet, you are sadly gonna need all 50 lawyer spots filled out for your lawyer office to actually make money. Also hire ONLY full time lawyers asking for 50-70 an hour. Don't fool with the rest as the increased salaries will just eat into your profits and your HR manager can get them trained up to 100% passively while they still keep the same wage they started at. Love your channel Squirrel!
