Every single officer in this video was a complete and utter embarrassment to the very concept of law enforcement. Nobody properly identified themselves, including people in plain clothes, that bowing ball roared and screamed at you about being a terrorist and believing you had dangerous objects on you, then proceeded to dance around you, comes inches up you, turn his back, and leave you alone with off duty officers, then he couldn't decide what legislation he wanted to use, harassment, terrorism, breach of peace, what a fool. The young lad needs to clean the cheese out of his ears because he kept staring through you, not answering whether he was exercising his detention powers, and kept needing you to repeat everything. Every single officer on scene needs discipline, retraining, and for the senior officers, demotion as soon as possible. The fact that not one officer who spoke saw any issue with their colleagues and their own behaviour is indicative of it being the culture of their station. Good luck with the official action you are hopefully taking here AB.
It really is, its up there with the worst of them. Made nothing safer or more secure. He started at level 100, and could have easily started a fight or incident with the wrong person. Escalated and started by the police officer himself. The wrong type of person to be in a position of authority. They recruit so many people who have the wrong temperament.
Big Bad Bully Boy initially detained AB under terrorism legislation, but did even not know the relevant section ( despite many many requests ) An officer of that rank should at least know his laws , but clearly he does not, and the other officers were not exactly following procedure themselves, failing to identify, not announcing body worn filming , and not answering if he was still detained. There is NO CHANCE that the force will defend this one and will want to settle so it never gets to court as it would be too damaging . I hope AB pushes them to the limit on this one, all the cards he holds are Aces.

One of my favourites from AB. That Sergeant is a very dangerous individual who is drunk with power that he doesn't possess. It makes me sad to know he's likely screwed over many members of the public that ultimately pay his wages.

I really really hope that you take legal action against this ignorant bully. That was clearly an illegal detainment. At best he should be sacked, but a demotion would be acceptable, and a few thousand from the police in compensation is always good , as it teaches them that the correct conduct and procedures MUST be followed.

The unidentified female who arrived and started questioning A.B. was just as bad. As for the two uniformed thugs that arrived with blue lights flashing for someone using a camera and filming Police,their level of intelligence and understanding of the law and life beggars belief. There were also at least three other Police Officers there, one female and two uniformed malesvin an unmarked vehicle, what a response 👏 . If only the public could expect that level of response when a crime was committed?

I've seen such positive audits lately where police are actually learning, it actually restored some faith in their integrity/general IQ. This however was arguably one of the worst interactions I've seen from police. The aggression, arrogance, lack of understanding of legal rights, even just general manners. It baffles/scares me that man has a protected position of authority where he's free to harass, intimidate and God knows what else. Faith lost unfortunately. Do better. Well done AB
police are only learning to become more slimy and to cover up this kind of brutality - that is all. they are not improving. this guy is just one of their blunt instruments. they need and keep his sort also. for the police institution this behaviour is not considered bad policing. people will only understand this once have experienced arrest a few times. then you will know the pigs for what they really are.
