This is the station where I was strip searched for absolutely no reason other than carrying a piece of salt in my bag...held here for 5 hrs finger printed and let me go after finding out the salt is pure innocent salt. My dignity was taken away and they treated me like a piece of crap

Under section 43 of the terrorism act legally you don't have to give your name or provide any ID if the police doesn't find any terrorism material after they stop and search you its either these officers didn't know that or they were lying

You can show them you are calling 101 You can say its you putting complaints in about corruption at the station. It's then their call. They have been told what you are doing. If they retaliate there and then, that's a big problem for them.

This one was upsetting. Sorry the police ha so little respect for you. The training must improve both in the UK an in the USA. Between AB and Long Island Audit, it has made me much more aware of my rights and police abuse. Filming in public seems natural to them, yet when you do it, it sets them off. In the UK, the legal definition of terrorism is provided in section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2000. This section includes data from MPS only and excludes ‘vehicle only’ stops and searches. They have no grounds for a stop and search.
So, ‘you’ve been taking photo’s of the Police station so we’re going to search you under Section 43’ is how the Code of Practice advises now. I know it doesn’t because I just checked. Everything they did was contrary to the CoP and borderline criminal behaviour. Hope you punish them to the maximum possible. AB you should set up your phone for voice commands and lock it when something like this happens. I hope you follow up this encounter, these goons have no place in police force. Couple points I would like to add: What kind of work six police officers do inside the building instead of patrolling the streets? Why do they unlawfully pick on citizens doing absolutely harmless activity?
I have commented this before, NPCC guidelines issued to all police officers (and administrators) state Section 43 of Terrorism Act should be used as a last resort when it comes to auditors and only when then there is reasonable suspicion (being an auditor is not reasonable suspicion). They must also abstain from taking mobile phones unless they believe it is evidential.
