Good job Mason. I like how respectful you are to your elders, even though the pick at you with shop talk. They are toughening you up so that you can approach any situation with a cool head.
Kids now days r something else the crew of guys I work with every day laying asphalt had another new guy n they did the normal n picking harmless fun they painted his hard hat pink his dad called HR on em n the boy quit over it lol
That machine isn't as bad as I figured it was,👍, Mason seems to have taken to that type of work like a duck to water, great video guys, and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the great content team C&C! Appreciate you taking the time to do so much, I know it's hard work getting these videos out. Have a great weekend!
Hi Clint. I really like how you feature the young guys in your videos and how you let them take on responsibilities. Could you feature more of this as I like how you teach the young guys and the learning process. I also think a few videos on Mr. Kevin working with them on spray painting would be good too. Giving the next generation a good go makes for spreading out your skills and the success in those skills. You and Mr. Kevin are great experts at what you do, thank you for great content.
You should think about teaching if you have a trade school or community college near you if you ever retire. It's what your videos are, teaching. Well done sir
I really like the empire you have built. It is the epitomy of a workplace many of us hoped for but never found. I got to despise some places I worked because they thought every shortcut they could take meant a better bottom line for themselves...including how they took care of the people that helped build their business.
Clint, what i see is you telling all your young employees what you want . Give some tips ? Then let them learn the hard way sometimes? But that's training them to be Self Thinkers ! When most people would micromanage them to death !! Not to say you won't step in when need be. Anyone with any sense, can see that's a lot of extra work and oversight by you !! Then you give credit to those young men when it's due !! WELL DONE CLINTON !! Can't say that enough !!
when you pulled that radiator out and found that lovely stuff… my first thought was.. Well now we know where they get the paint for the dozer.. it looks the same color… Great job as always
had my a shop I used here in Texas put in a new radiator core on my D6D many moons ago, they called and said they had bad news but would make it right. They poked a hole in my new core. hahaha I told them they could have it repaired and if it ever leaked it was on their dime. It was good for the next 12 years.
the CAT D7 reminded me of a machine we had in our Army Engineer Unit stationed on the DMZ in Vietnam. It was amazing how had to do what you do only we were VERY basic. Brought back a lot of memories. You guys do good work.
That Wheel Horse is a clean ol' gal. That was a find. In my cheap youth I had a 1968 Charger 12 I repowered with an Onan 20 horse. I still miss that tractor,
Youst like to say Thank you fore all work you Sir put in your C&C Equipment RU-vid channel! I have a very good time this summer to watch your channel, Sir! So take care and have a realy good summer to all of you! CEO Peter Eriksson, Falun Maskin Service, Dalarna Sweden, Europe! 😅😊😊
Nearly spilt my coffee when you said, America hasn't got talent staring Kevin. 😂🤣 And isn't Mason doing really well, keeping up up and playing with big boys toys. 👍🤗
I remember doing a D8 radiator years ago and after I took the core out and set it on a pallet outside the bay someone stole it. We suspected the guys that would swing through the yard picking up old pallets, but had no prove. 🤬🤬
Great Video, I really like watching work on Caterpillar D 7 and D 8s these old boys are dear to my heart ❤️. They helped build so much cities and American roads and highways.
Brilliant guys Especially Mason staring at the the WH, hoping if he stares long enough the situation might get better. That's another young guy on your team that I have genuine respect for 👍
It's a beautiful 'old' dozer. Mason works hard on these jobs and seems to enjoy every moment of his learning. One thing for sure the new owner can be sure it will be working just fine - C&C Equipment worked on it.
I would love to hear how Mason became your employee !!?? I've gained a lot of respect for that young man !! Absolutely Love to watch as he absorbs yours and Kevin's teachings ! Mainly because it seems So Rare with today's kids ? Same goes for your boys
Nothing wrong with that mower. I would have it in a heartbeat. Better than the modern crap! Briggs and stratton with their dodgy decompression mechanism etc. Crap plastic everywhere! I think the train drivers must watch the channel! Thats a nice big lump of iron you have in the shop. G'day from Tasmania 😊
10/14/23..Cat D7 F fix up..what a big dog this is! Always learning while coffee sipping & watching team C&C utilize yur fantastic shop to disassemble & methodically examine all key components that your experience leads we viewers to see (great camera/lighting) & hear your comments (often humorous) which explain how each component relates to proper function/factory specs & overall user satisfaction. You casually mention 'getting' new parts & rarely mention the ($ astronomical) costs required for repair not counting shop time or labor..which is understandably appropriate. Yup, much appreciate your time taken to position cameras/lights & minimize all the 'air hammer & steel-on-steel 🔔 ring' going on with other repairs. Most all of your videos have this 'other shop noise' eliminated...Great attention to production details! Also glad to see you psi wash these machines before in-shop work begins. We can actually see just how compact (almost impossible) it is to get any kind of wrench 🛠 into that 'Octapus Convention'🐙🕸🌪🔀 'bird nest' of hydraulic hoses....but you & your team get-it-done! Stay safe & carry on!...looking forward to part 2 of this retrofit, 🎨 paint (yellow?) & test drive around your building!👍😊
Great Job Guys! I really enjoyed watching the two videos of the Big D8K Dozer overhaul. The entire crew got in on this one I think. The excellent paint job sure makes her brand spankin' new. Thanx a lot for some great entertainment.
Enjoyed the diagnosis and repairs this older iron . Hoping Chris is going to be the new owner and yellow won't be the paint colour . Any chance of making Mason a lawn mower with an LS in it ? You have a good thing going there and looks to be enjoyable to be at work .
Thanks Clinton as always so funny you all get on so well makes for great entertainment ,and I feel I could pull a dozer apart now after watching you all Cheers Kym Adelaide
I was surprised Mrs C was allowed to park on the concrete apron. You guys are a blast to watch, even though I don't know diddley about bulldozers. I do know Ford trucks up to 95 and hearing that diesel Bronco was weird. Supervisor Randy, is bringing Mason aling nicely ! Great video all !
Nice job !! Should have showed installing the seals on the assembly Thats the fun part and getting the rod back in the cylinder housing. I redone all mine on me little d3c good project. You do nice work.!!
Beautiful work. Surely you gents have used.KROIL before. It is the best deep creep. :). Great video. My husband retired from Yancey Brothers Cat in Georgia after 42 years as a mech.
@@BarryKelly23I really hope so. After his Hyundai 330 purchase he seems to have learned bigger IS better especially for land clearing projects that he's always involved in.
@@BarryKelly23yes but still gotta get it finished and to Chris. I was speaking about overall and not just in repairs. It may have been delivered today but it hasn’t been posted on the inner webs yet 😉
Great team, work environment, and looks like you have fun, or make fun out of it. Don't worry about the super glue on my tool box, I'm sure it will ship with more dings by the time it goes
