Our Bahamas Adventure continues in Harbour Island. We head out for an afternoon of fishing and wind up catching a few mahi including a big bull late in the day. The following morning we clean the mahi at Romora Bay and then head to Star Island a few miles away to cook the mahi on the beach!

Man, that just looks the business!! White sand, crystal clear blue waters, Bonefish inshore, Mahi-Mahi offshore! Friends, Family and food and Island time continues!! I subbed to Jocelyn's channel a few weeks ago, and am loving it, and damnit Nick, while I'm stuck here on the Canadian Prairies you're making me dream of life at a slower pace in a warmer location!!

We went out about 5 miles from Corpus Christi one time and found a huge school of chicken dolphin (Mahi) right at the surface. Was literally dropping the line in and pulling them up. No reeling at all. Came back with 2 coolers full to the rim. Probably never happen again.

You should load up on Rescue Disposable Fly Traps for your next trip. I bought a couple of these at either Lowes or Home Depot. You just hang them away from where you want to be (they smell terrible) and add water. They will be loaded with THOUSANDS of flies before you know it. They work better than anything I have ever seen.

Back in Panama we would make bite sized chunks, marinate them in beer batter and deep fry. Nothing like beer battered deep fried Mahi. Soooo good. Nice boat too. Smoked Marlin is amazing too!

I just wanna say you truly living my dream. Im up in the lowcountry GA but i just got my first boat and its a war eagle 1542. Cant do no offshore but ive been running it through the inlets catching trout and reds. Hope to be on your level one of these days and be able to take my family on a nice 42 foot freeman.

Great video nick! What knife sharpener do you recommend for those kinds of fish? My knife tends to get dull real fast and I haven’t invested in a wet stone or a sharpener yet

You need to use a honing steel in between cuts. The knife will remain sharper longer, and the metal will last longer as wdll

The thinner the blade the longer it will remain sharp, however to have a thin blade it would have to be made of high quality steel. The mixture of steel must be such that it doesn't stain, but is soft enough to sharpen. This can if you aren't lucky and haven't done your homework, lead to purchasing a number of knives before you find one that is suitable.

You have been goofing and wasting $3500 daily by screwing around...can't pay for a $650,000 boat goofing and spending thousands of dollars showing off your boat. Get real man. I stayed at Marathon, Fl or 7 winters....you can hire any boat there for under one thousand dollars.......

I work 60 hours a week on average the last 5 years straight. I fished 200-250 days a year 8 years in a row before that. Time to spend some time with the family. I was $900 a day 15 years ago for a full day trip, but it was a 34’ crusader. Now I have over 2000 people on my email list waiting on trips on a super nice freeman. Hence the price adjustments. You ain’t hiring a freeman that’s worth $1 million for $1000 a day. That was my fuel bill last trip. But we did catch 3 swords and a bunch of tuna so can’t complain

I made a trip to tarpon springs this week to visit a best friend it's been 16 hrs since I last step foot on Florida grounds, it's driving e crazy I can't get down to Islamorada for a visit with ya ,dammit man maybe next time.To CaptNick and family keep the great content coming.go hogs(Arkansas Razorbacks)
