@@xDx0xUxGx He does this regularly. He will drive around to find a spot and get a fish first cast, middle of the Everglades. Pattern fishing. Bass whispering.
*I caught this guy on my 3rd cast. Paired with these 4" trailers. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend slightly modified, I think i trimmed about 3/4 of an inch off of it. Its deadly!*
Who are the 3 people who don't like what Mr. Martin shares with us?? Thank you so much for making us better fishermen/women and just flat out better people.
I watched this video and on may 19th I caught 25 bass in a farm pond here in eastern Ohio and my best ever 12.2 lbs not far from the state record and I did it using a War Eagle double willow , thanks for the advice . I had my heavy action 7 1/2 rod and 50 lb braid neither of wich I would have tried without watching your videos , be a long time before I ever top that bass if ever.
Haha you, sir, are the absolute best! Catching that big fat bass on the first cast! 😂 I sure do love me some spinnerbaits & I fish them the same way when I’m thinking straight.
Back in the 70’s I watched you guys fishing shows on Sunday morning. And fished from the bank till dark. It was a great time to be alive. Those fishing show taught me a lot about bass fishing.
Love your RU-vid stuff. At 70 years young I have watched you for your whole carrier and have some books. Thing I love about your new endever is it brings your talents down to our level. By that I mean I can afford a $50K bass boat or any offshore boat. Now I live by Peublo Reservior (2 miles by choice) 9 mile lake with Small, Large bass, including wipers, all the trout, several species of crappie and Muskies I am told. I am looking for a boat but shore fishing at the moment. I have kayak fished as well and their is gold medal fly fishing below the dam of the Arkansas river that feeds it.
Not many could do it, few did it, but how ANYONE ever caught more bass than Martin in tournaments over time is beyond me. He has some of the simplest and most straightforward approaches to fishing imaginable for a man with his angling record. Note in this video: no weird retrieval tactics, no secret plastic trailer, no special skirt material . . . and 20 lbs. "old school" mono. I learn something every single time I watch one of his videos. Brad
Hell yea Roland! I think your the only RU-vidr doing fishing videos that has nothing but absolute love in all of his comments sections. I’ve never seen a negative comment ever in any of your videos. Yours the man and everyone has nothing but respect for ya!

0:48 - what a nice cloudy day, chunk of a bass to start the day out with! The stud bass was a stocky thing! You know that fish has been living the good life! 😎
I like the camera angle at 3:21! Good shot of the cast and the location where the lure landed. Helps a lot on how to fish the lure. Keep the content coming Roland! 👍
Another great video from the legend. Glad you never forget the bank fisherman as you make these informative videos. Almost grassroots like. Thank you again sir.

Spinnerbait fishing is my favorite! I too, have been watching you since I was a kid.. my son just started getting the bass bug this year and we plan on doing A LOT of fishing. P.S. I just caught my PB on a chartreuse spinner bait from the bank on May 20, 2019 @ 20:15 4:32lbs. Not huge by all accounts but it was MY biggest until 5-25-19 when I landed a 5.39 from a boat fishing under a bridge at a different lake using a Yum 4 Dinger green pumpkin/neon. Love the channel Roland; keep em coming!! 🇺🇸🎣
I like 1/2 ounce with a shad color silver Colorado and big brass willow blade, 12 pound mono big game stren 7 foot heavy/medium ugly stick and a black max abu Garcia from 2006,lol.
