I just caught a very nice 9 - 10 pounder on a Rebel Pop R on June 22 2019. My biggest bass ever in my life. Caught on a private lake about 18 miles from where i live. Most exciting fishing experience of my life. Love your videos. They really get me reved up for fishing.
Ayeeee that’s hype man! Congrats!!! Fish like that don’t come around to often but when they do you’ll never forget it! Glad you’re loving the vids and that they make you excited to get out and fish!
@@Fletcher_The_Fisherman Thank you. I've got fishing fever really bad this year. Your vids just intensifies it. Once again, great videos. I'm a new fan and sub.
Great job Fletcher! First time watching one of your videos. Biggest bass I’ve caught in the summer so far is 6.5. It was in a small pond outside of Atlanta.God bless and enjoy the summer!
Regarding that River2Sea Whopper Plopper Loon Topwater you‘re using, I found one sitting in weeds at Otter Ponds here in Maine! $15 dollar value just sitting there, thanks for helping me with its use!

Good Fishing, Congratulations! This place is amazing beautiful fish. Hug and good fishing always!👍🎣
Fletcher.. I love these WP lures & have several of the 75s to use at a farm pond that is not fancy or kept pristine , it's a great pond with two good small islands, it's about an acre & a half with some good size Bass & Bluegills & man they brutalize these lures at all times of day but as evening hits it's like dropping depth charges when they hit them. A real blast & your right sometimes they hit a slow retrieve & sometimes a faster one & they will follow it right up to the bank on occasion & hit it when you stop & least expect it. Down at the Potomac River here in Maryland the smallies tear them up as do the large mouths & if your lucky the Tiger Muskies will hit it of course for Bass you aren't using any steel leader you may lose your bait but it's always a chance you take at the river. Thanks for sharing & slow down a bit LOL no need to rush your good time fishing. At this pond they seem to love the Bluegill , Perch & Monky Butt colors but i think it's mostly the dynamic action & sound that fires them up.
Nice job with video! I just started using a whopper plopper. I pu the 90 series in bone and shad colors for MD only used 1 time no luck on a dozen fan casts. I like the way you explained your thought process. Good luck with your channel!
I just bought one this yr and took it to a lake in mn that has small mouths, holy crap.......I had around 50 fish in a 2 hr window before dark...killer little lure...jerk jerk jerk pause retrieve , they couldn't stand it...
I’m new to your channel and just subscribed. My biggest largemouth this year was 4lbs 10oz. I didn’t start fishing until end of August this year which sucks but I’ll be out early this spring! Lol
I don’t understand why people would pay 12$-15$ for 1 river to sea whopper plopper when you can get 8 whopper ploppers on Amazon for 16$ and catch a ton of fish. They basically are a bundle of 2-3$ whopper ploppers. I can’t commit to buying a lure over 10$ when i know im just gonna snag it lol. Those Amazon ones catch fish like crazy. If you see me using a whopper plopper it’s an Amazon one. If i lose one i can live with it because they’re cheap.
I'm working on trying to upload more, just stick with me while I try to manage my time better and should hopefully get to the point where I'm posting 2 to 3 videos a week soon!
I am looking forward to it! I am new to fishing. I just learned how to use a baitcaster. Also i live in Clayton North Carolina so it would be cool if we fished together. I am 12 years old btw. Thanks!
I just lost perhaps the biggest bass today in my life - I know, people tend to exaggerate, but nope, I was left shocked on the shore thinking what the f just happened. It also didn't help that people started to look at the commotion in the water. I would say it is at least between 8 to 10 lbs. The reason is because it is a nature preservation area - catch and release only so they get big.
@@Fletcher_The_Fisherman thanks for the reply man I appreciate that and I agree man fishing is a lifestyle it is so much fun and me and my two boys spend lots of time together so it's a great hobby to bring the family together. Really enjoy your videos so keep up the good work bro!
Dude!! Went and bought a Whopper Plopper 90 cuz they didnt have a 75 but my son and i were out tonite sunday 8-18-19 and caught my 1st top water on the whopper plopper 90!! So fun bro!
I have been watching and following you for a while but you said Charlotte?? Where st because I’m in Charlotte can’t find any good spots. Thank you fletcher
Hey man great enthusiasm... Word of advice, be careful lipping fish with a plug... I'm worried they will throw one of those treble hooks through your thumb, and to the ER you will be...
iv bought a couple of them..small and big...iv had them for about 3 years...i live on a river and we have a 70 mile lake as well...iv never caught a damn thing on these lures...and i keep trying...3 years and not one fish
Thanks man, that means a lot! I've just started to take youtube more serious in the last few months so we will see where the road takes me! but yeah I live in Charlotte, if you're near by shoot me a DM on instagram
I still don't understand colors. I've seen numerous videos where they say use light colors in bright conditions and dark colors in low light. But you've found just the opposite works.
Wonder if you live in those million dollar houses back there. I see your g-loomis rod 199.99 rod and 100.00 reel. I would say yes you live back there, easy to catch fish on private ponds!
it's a retirement community but regardless, the amount of money someone has or the water that they have access to means nothing. I just like to share my experiences with others, teach people what I can, and get people more interested in fishing
Usually its either preference or what you're casting, stuff like topwaters/bass fishing can be better for a baitcaster while spinning is a better all rounder
