I really enjoy the collabs with YakPak. You guys make fishing so much fun. I would go with the standard whopper plopper. It seems to be the better all around choice. The expensive plopper has a bigger profile that I do not like as much as the standard!
I’m a little newer to fishing but I have wanted to get a 16-17$ ploper just to try it out. Also thank you again so much for the inspiration and the entertainment from watching you!! Thanks
You should start every collab sniffing something lol everyone always looks awkward like "what do I do with my hands?" So might as well embrace the awkward lol 😆
Can’t wait to try one . Have one ordered but now it’s back ordered again. Our Walmart is out of everything, it’s getting real close to a whopper road trip!!!!!!!!
I've never used the whopper plopper, but I keep seeing them and I've been looking into getting one. This video helped me make a decision about the size to get and I think I'm going to go with the standard size!
Yes the whopper plopper vid I’ve been waiting for love it boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii👍👍🔥🔥 I love your channel and your biggest fan dude I would love that Lews fishing pole man👌I would use the less expensive one
Thanks to you for introducing me to this bait, one of my new favorite top water lures. So far I’ve only used the cheap ones and they seem to work amazing
Somebody is gonna be real happy when the come across a free plopper washed up on the bank, fletch giving back to the community in more ways than we know lol
I’ve recently started bass fishing and i didn’t know about this whopper plopper, I’ll definitely try a cheap one first and see how it goes 😅 thanks for the tips!!
Have yet to use one so not sure which one is my favorite, down here in South Florida I use a lot of Flukes and Worms need to venture more into hard baits. This was a great video! Is the are any hard bait you recommend as must have?
I’ve never used the whopper plopper. The smaller one would probably be my choice here in Michigan though because the fish are smaller on average. I could really really use the combo Fletcher. My reel actually took a crap yesterday and I can’t fish until I fix it or get another one and with my reduced hours because of the virus, I just don’t have the cash. Love your videos and looking forward to seeing more
I've got a couple of the regular whopper ploppers and they are fire!! Was recently at Walmart and picked one of the Ozark trail brands and it definitely not as good as the original! But keep killing it fletch! You're the man! It's funny I just went to ganders outdoors today and looked at the combo you're giving away and was like man I wish I had the money if buy it. If you picked me I'd be super appreciative!
If you haven’t, try the berkley choppo. I add feathered hooks to mine and do pretty well. Bone color with green feathers or red feathers. Also red magic marker on the bottom and gills to look bloody.
Never fished with a whopper plopper but I definately will now. Also i only have one baitcaster and I have had my eyes on that exact one for so long and I've been saving up for it.
Not a huge whopper plopper fisherman but if I chose once Id choose the cheaper or one somewhere in the middle. Can’t justify 30 bucks on one bait lol for 30 bucks it better reel fish in for me. Thanks for the content fletcher!
Dude swim after that Whopper Plopper ! I would've been throwing topwaters and try to retrieve it back !! I've seen y'all use these WHOPPER PLOPPERS, and have yet to buy one ! Guess I'll have to dust off the cobwebs from the pocketbook and get one !! 😯😯😯😯😯Or drive to Florida and try to find that flew off !!😯😯😯😯😉😁👍👍✌👊👊 Great video Fletch !!💪💪✌
hey flech i did the samthing last yr wit my whopper plopper 110. it seriously broke my heart to watch a $20 bait fly away like a bird man... ik the feelin bro. great vid keep em comin bro!!.
I have the Whopper Plopper Bluegill in the 110 size. I’ve missed the last five hits but caught a 3 pounder the other day on it. It’s a fun bait to throw.
Never fished a Whopper after this video I'm gonna try! I would probably buy the cheap one to start. If I fall in love with the bite I'd move up after that.
I have 3 whopper ploppers and I love them I haven’t caught anything with them yet and I just bought the Berkeley el choppo from Walmart so I’m gonna try it this week
I have done all the steps to enter the giveaway and I definitely am not a huge fan of whopper plopper myself. They are mainly pretty expensive and I haven't had good luck with them in the past. Loved the vid and can't wait for the next video and giveaway!!
I recommend the $30 lure (joe Bucher top raider) simply because up north here it gets you more fish in general not necessarily bass but fish are fish, however, my favorite plopper has to be any of the lake x lures ploppers
I'm in south Carolina also I do alot of kayak fishing I have a 486 acre pond with alot of old cypress trees and submerged grass/pads u need to come fish! In Kershaw country
Just ordered sum whopper plopper can’t wait to use them amazing vid and hope I get a chance to get that rod I been needing a new the one I got rn was my dads when he was a young but great vid keep it up
I watch both of yall and always enjoy the vids. Haven't used a whopper popper but they look good. Have never had a lews reel either. My neighbor loves them though
The black ozark trail has a similar paint scheme to the $30 one just started fishing haven’t had any luck with it. I would choose the middle of the road I have a white one of those. Would love to win this combo don’t have a baitcaster yet and have been eyeballing that combo. Great video brother will be watching a lot more have seen you on a lot of the other channels. Great content!
I get the original Wopper Ploppers from Bass Pro, in different color & sizes for fishing here in SWFL.. If I had to choose from one of those probably the last one you used bc it's bigger & just looks cool lol
I personally have one of the original Whopper Ploppers but I've had just as much success from the Ozark Trails one from Walmart. It only cost about 6 bucks and I've caught more fish on it than the original. I do however recommend changing out the hooks or at least giving them a sharpening on the Ozark lure.
Unless it's a jig or spinnerbait Ozark Trail brand tend to fill with water. Original Whopper Ploppers are my choice. Although I do very little topwater fishing.
For 9.99 Berkeley makes a version of the whop plop and it's called The Chapo , Works great but only comes in 1 size, Highly recommend it tho for my fellow budget bangers
