Hey question for you. I have the Eagle batteries as well. When you charge yours what is the voltage cut off? Both of mine cut off at 55 volts. I feel there leaving amp hours on the table. I dont get 30 amp hours on each battery. I like to see these cut off some where in the 57 volt range. Wish they had bluethooth to see cell balance.

Great video. If you didn’t buy these batteries, what were the others being considered? So did the issue at 1:49 resolve with 4 batteries? I wasn’t sure if the issue was with lith 3 battery setup of the acid?

I was looking at allied, Roy pow and ego along with some other less known alternatives. Sorry I can see how that could have been confusing. I could feel the cart struggling for power with 3 so I added the 4th. Then I realized my problem all along were the cables from the controller to busbar were too small. Larger cables fixed the issue. The speed and acceleration issue was with the original lead acid set I had in the cart.

I have the same controller. I'm wondering if just 1 of these batteries will be an upgrade over my traditional batteries.

What is that light on the OTF flashing? I have the same Navitas 5Kw/600A setup and Ive never seen that. I have a Bigbattery Husky 48v 103Ah (discontinued now) single battery and I get about 36mph top speed on flat road. I get about 40 miles on a flat road with average 25mph or less.

Do you have stock breaks? Just cause golf cart are not meant to go 35mph any improvement you can do on breaks?

I put all brand new brakes on when I built the cart but front disk brakes are the next upgrade. When I drive faster I turn the regen up which helps a ton with slowing down.

Did you have to do anything to make your lights work??or was it plug n play ???

The light kit came with the madjax body kit I installed. They include a wiring harness with all of their light kits that make them plug and play.

Big Battery, where the customer is always wrong 1) Expect a Dead on Arrival (DOA) unit with a manufactured date of 11/20 2) Plan for nine business days where you contact big battery every day to resolve the issue and they may or may not respond 3) If they respond, make sure to set aside a lot of time to explain to Big Battery what a customer friendly process is for handing a DOA unit 4) Prepare to dispute the refund with Big Battery as they want to charge you a 20% restocking fee as well as $400 for the shipping for a DOA unit. 5) Make sure you have a good credit card company.

Dang that’s unfortunate you’ve had such a poor experience. My experience was very different. The quality of my batteries were very good and any questions I had were answered quickly over the phone. Big battery also had no idea of my affiliation with this channel so I shouldn’t have received any type of special treatment. That said, it seems like they have had a falling out with “Battery Evo,” who produced many of the internal components. Maybe this has something to do with it? Still very unfortunate to hear about your experience.

I’m running an epoch 90ah set up in a 6 seater. I get 20 miles. The 6 seater limo carts are not nearly as efficient as a 4 seater. Also the range tests are just 1 person. Once you had passengers it goes down. I’m going to add a 4th battery soon.
