Hey this is not for sale anymore can anyone tell me what SKU is for this module? Husky stop making them with two power rails so I'm trying from one of last years box. Can you please put the sku here.
Batteries aren't rated for MPH. They are rated for discharge current. The BMS in the battery has overcurrent disconnect built in the protect the cells. It can most likely handle 400 amps for 5 seconds or so. The BMS will also disconnect the battery on high temperature so should be safe. 2 of these batteries are still lighter than lead acid at 48 volts and would give you 210 amp/hrs. so tons of range at a very good price and double the amps for extream service. The package is not as nice but is IP68 waterproof rated.
When I was 18 and moved away from home, my big brother gave me my first tool set. I use it a lot and think of him every time I do. Only took me another 20 years but I just bought my first house and use it now more than ever 😂
@Project Karr - Did you use 2014+ rocker panels with the Storm body kit? Only ones I've found on the internet for pre 2014 EZGOs are the diamondplate ones or direct replacements that have the chrome inlay piece like you originally had.
Looking forward to the next vid! Where did you order the dash from? Did you have to buy the cup holder inserts and the decorative trim pieces separate?
FYI: As of right now, the Craftsman and Gearwrench sets linked to in the description are both going for $320 but the Pittsburgh is still $200 (and at an upcoming HF parking lot sale going for $170).
In that GW set, I’d swap the ratchets out. The 3/8 I’d replace with the 90t compact head from them. That Dewalt set missing a 10mm is the single dumbest skip I’ve ever seen. The 14mm skipped in a Kobalt set I have is the runner up to that. I have one of the dark chrome Craftsman ratchets and it has the heaviest back drag of any single 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet I’ve ever encountered.
I don’t believe I can reduce the voltage but I’m able to change amp output on the Navitas app or with the on the fly controller. When I’m driving through neighborhoods I have everything turned way down.
We have a club car precedent. It is all stock except we had the speed code 4 unlocked. Will the LiTime 48v 60ah battery be sufficient?? We use this cart at the beach and ride around daily with 2 adults and grandbabies. Also we want to install one in our farm cart that is just all stock. Thank you!
I've had tekton bits and neiko bits. NEIKO WAS HORRIBLE. TEKTON STILL ALIVE 3 YEARS LATER. They not from the same factory, they used the same tools to make the tools... but they are not the same factory. Tools are used to make tools. Better people make better tools with those same tools.
Hey Project Karr, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
What is that light on the OTF flashing? I have the same Navitas 5Kw/600A setup and Ive never seen that. I have a Bigbattery Husky 48v 103Ah (discontinued now) single battery and I get about 36mph top speed on flat road. I get about 40 miles on a flat road with average 25mph or less.
Hey question for you. I have the Eagle batteries as well. When you charge yours what is the voltage cut off? Both of mine cut off at 55 volts. I feel there leaving amp hours on the table. I dont get 30 amp hours on each battery. I like to see these cut off some where in the 57 volt range. Wish they had bluethooth to see cell balance.
If you got to put a pipe on any wrench you got the wrong tool for the job. I see a lot of these breaking point videos and most ratchets even cheap ones would work in most environments including professional ones. So it comes down to longevity, fatigue, comfort, flexibility and wear. Not just breaking strength. And let’s face it Overseas stuff is getting super high quality. And our youth has no problem buying it. Us old guys who didn’t buy overpriced tool truck stuff always looked for cheaper options in the US made market. But many of those companies have been mismanaged or failed to innovate relying only on brand recognition. And now Taiwan and others are cleaning their clocks if not outright purchasing the companies. What did Lee Iacocca say? Lead follow or get out of the way.
I had a set like the Gearwrench, it was a kobalt set, i loved it till the box broke and it has been a nightmare since. Because of the case im leaning towards the Pittsburgh just in hopes of avoiding the same issue in the future
FYI, putting this on a E-Z-GO Be very careful going really fast. I put it on a neighbor's cart and over 42 it started to get death wobble because of how the front is mounted on semi-eliptical springs. On my Club Car even at a speed starting with a 5.....it's still stable
This is a great setup for 99% of homeowners. I don't think the tool chest is even necessary, but it is cool and does make organizing easier. Harbor Freight really is the best place to get tools for 99% of people. Let's say my $7 set of Pittsburgh screwdrivers goes bad after... 10 years of occasional use... just buy another set. Why buy a $50-$100 set that may or may not last longer? Good choices!
Tools were good, but the box is a piece of crap...... first handle came off, all tools spilled out. Next the top lid latches broke right off. So now I have to carry by inset handles on side. Now the side latches if you call it that that holds the drawers in place will not stay closed.
