Adam Rayner juggles a brand new TWELVE inch Bazooka bass tube for TA TV on www.talkaudio.co.uk. Watch as I bash myself in the face with it at one point but just carry on!
i love bazooka tubes i have been buying them for a long time 1993 and ive used them on every set up ive had, and now iam going to try 2 12's i have a 2002 pontiac grand prix with a turbo !!!with the performance mods i have on the car i want a light sub with low bass and now iam go to go with the 12"tube 2 of them years ago i had a mazda b22 with ex cab and had 4 10's dv striped to the wall with a rockford 650 and it was badass I loved it
Bass tubes are great if you dont want to weigh you're car down and Bazooka is king obviously because they were the first ... there is some other companies trying to imitate but they are garbage. Bazooka has applications for any one trying to save weight and space . . . want easy go with the amped versions . .. you want to really push it get the passive version and a nice powerful amp. Bass tubes are great in truck cabs and are loud! Im still trying to figure if I can squeeze in the 12"
@tjwsnt2007 the vehicle was a panel van and it was done with eights and they piled them to fill the entire cubic as a wall - also they were trick-wired internally so there were no wires to see - looked like a bass beee's hive comb! Just made the one-fifty :-))))
@tjwsnt2007 these guys are legendary and invented the bass tube. They are stupidly, bizarrely potent and yet light weight. Pile 'em up and they make 150dB - a UK importer DID! MAke no mistake, depsite your serious doubts, dude, - go listen to one and NO they won't be beat by a cheap sub. Put a heavy duty half kilowatt biffer in a big deep breathing heavy box and give it some wellington and yes, you will beat it, but for the instant hit, the sheer quality and the price, they kick butt as they say
@whosbluegrass my brother was using that exact same one in the back of his car with heavy metal/ rock to underground rap/hip hop. lol now that he sold his car, he has given it to me. he said it costs around $250 but i got lucky haha, i think it's amazing, the bass fills into the car mostly and you could hear only a little bit of it outside. unless you crank up the volume lol.
@Presenterbloke yea im sure their sound quality is ok for what it is but 150 db is a lot of sound man. my car only hits 109 to 115. how many did the guy have?
man i really seriously doubt these are worth buying when i have subs in my car that will blow those out of the water. almost any low end sub will put out way more bass than those things. what are they maybe 250 watts peak??
