LOVE THIS!!! SO LUCKY. My bucket list! Good job protecting them from the dogs! Watch out for more hatching in the coming days! (Also can build small defense around the hatching area so they will be guided towards the ocean and they will remember for ever the beach)
From what I read in books, way back in my college years as a BS Biology major, Turtles will always come back to where they were born. No matter how far across the oceans they go, when they mature and it’s time for them to lay eggs, they will go back to the exact beach spot where they were born to lay eggs. So I suggest you guys preserve that area and exact same spot. Don’t put structures there because those baby turtles already imprinted on that and they will come back there to lay eggs once they all mature. I am so happy to watch this video. Keep doing good for our Philippine beaches 🙂
How Mum turtle chose the spot & eventually share with you all that same domain, is beyond coincidence. I reckon Mum turtle is thinking: “With the coastal gang, my hatchlings will be in good hands”🙏Positivity pa more😊👊😉
It means your house is blessed and you Kulas and others are so blessed to have turtles in front of your beach house. We must protect and conserve the coastline for the turtles. Thank you Kuya Kulas and team for helping baby turtles after 30 years they come bsck to your place to.lay their eggs. Mabuhay who protect, love and conserve the environment.
Dude, your Earth hopping months ago resulted in something so positive. As the turtle chose to lay her eggs right in front of your beach house. Truly a magnificent sight to see.
Have BFAR educate the community how to protect the turtles, like simply putting a marker around the nest so as not to disturb their natural habitat and avoid locals and visitors to ruin them by accident. Your place is lucky to have that amazing creatures
Brother , keep safe all the time.Malikot ka din ano...shout out nmn dito sa Dartmouth , Halifax Nova Scotia... We've been watching your vlogs ever since I came to Canada...super dupper....Godbless
Wow! That was awesome, Kulas'! I'm as teary-eyed as you are! That's great having baby turtles around. Sounds like your beach will need to be a protected area now so the turtles can come back to lay their eggs again. They'll be back where they were born and they'll remember where that place was. Great job! I was excited to see everyone at the beach!
Kyle & the gang, what an exciting vlog, especially watching you guys saving & guiding the baby turtles back to their natural habitat, the ocean. I remember, about 2 months back Mikegiver suspected that there was a trace of turtle presence in the sand. You guys tried to search it at night, but you couldn't find anything. Now, he is right! That was probably the mama turtle laying & burying her eggs. Bravo guys, you are now an official turtle Titos! Ingat all!
I saw your FB live late and Im glad you found the turtles. I know you had to decide instinctively about them and have the best interest of the turtles. Super apir Kulas! I really hope the resort owners will look after the coast in their property. 🙏
Wow, this is your lucky charm and a blessing to your household. Even the mum turtle can sense the positivity you all have and trusted her eggs to you. Well done!
I was looking for this vlog. YOU can definitely see them there again a year from now. They will be back you can bet. It is almost as if they chose YOU all to be witnesses to their births because they know you will champion them. Thank-you ALL so much for taking care of them.
I was watching you guys eat and I just realized that your dining table is sunken and your seat is your floor! That's a brilliant idea!!! I feel like I want to build a house with the same dining room as yours! 😍
yup...filipinos love to eat one leg up..this is a perfect set up.....koreans and japanese eat cross legs ... filipinos eat with barehand and one leg up
Good morning from Vancouver B.C 😊❤ Amazing turtles 🐢 Tons of them💕Thank you for taking care of them & let them go in the ocean 😀 God's little creatures 😊 Thank you for sharing #BecomingFilipino❤Take care 🙂 ❤🇨🇦
So glad that majority of the turtles made it to the sea. When we vacation in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the turtle nest have a sign not to disturb the sand near it. The homes are instructed to turn off the lights that are toward the beach during the night as turtles are attracted to them. They lay their eggs in darkness. Hopefully as the beach are gets very busy with resorts and tourists that people would be mindful of the turtles and their nests. BTW I really enjoy watching your vlogs. Power on Kulas!
Mike ayw pagutomi nyo ang iro diha pakauna jud mao ng cause ang iro kaon ug unsa2x nga patay o buhi nga animals ky sa ka gutom nila gusto pod nila nga mo survive so if dili sila gutom dili sila mo kaon ug kapwa nila hayop an train also to respect nature tanx mike ur the savior of turtle
Ang iro taas au sila instinct sa palibot iya to kay2x ang balas ky naa sya ka tingala nga something it taas pa sila instinct sa tao take sa sa iro i salute to those dog lover or pet lover person tanx
I thought you guys did a pretty good job. Consider the dog would have killed them all, giving them a little midwife assistance and a quick salt water bath plus a final test of we are not just going to put you in the ocean, but you have to do the final bit yourselves, is pretty good. (Later when they come back bigger- a little salt, a littler pepper. Wife from Bicol.)
I saw on some documentary, that they will come back where they were hatched. They have a natural compass to find their way when they become adult. That means the mother might come back to lay eggs again on the same area. The survival rate is low.
Yes, baby turtle s found in front of your place is a lucky you save and let them go...is the sign of progress Kulas, keep it on go go go what you have planning will success...your an Angel...God blessed to all of you.❤️😘
"Simple food"=Filipino comfort food What a cool experience having the sea turtles hatch right on the beach in front of your house!!! 🏖🌊🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢 Those resorts would love to have that happen on their beach. It will draw customers - eco-tourism.
It is truly majestic to see mother nature at it's finest. So sad though that only 1 in a 1,000 survive to see adulthood. Nice job documenting this kulasisi.
You guys did a good job protecting these turtles. That's an awesome experience that most of us dreamt of. More power to you guys and stay POSITIVE! :-)
Holding back tears while watching you guys cheering the little turtles in going to the sea. This is just amazing!!! Please take care of that area for future generations..
Funny while I was watching your live yesterday I remember in one of your vlogs you were looking for turtle tracks away from your property. Surprisingly it's just steps away from your bamboo gate.
kulas you must inform the local DENR CENRO office your foreshore is a nesting ground of the turtle species so that they could make actions to protect the area
ohhh i forgot ...thank you so much for caring... i dont know how to say this in english but i know u can understand .... please wag kang manawa sa ginagawa mo thank you again
Wow! I get goosebumps hearing you guys cheer for the turtles... Great group effort in Saving the Turtles. You need to have a tarpaulin printed and hang it outside for awareness that your area is also a Turle breeding ground/sanctuary.. Amazing.
Jungie rescusitating a turtle is so cute, what a good cook,he should publish a cookbook. What an inspiring Vlog. Legumes trigger inflammations .KEEP IT COMING KYLE!!
You don’t have to worry about arthritis or inflammation in general if you’re doing intermittent fasting bro. You are naturally detoxifying regularly. btw.. of all places of that 9 kilometers stretch of beach-those baby turtles hatched right in front of your property. Wow! That’s awesome!
Inspiring. Wonderful. Exciting. ❤️ luv the way you, Jandee, Mike, Kumar, et al saved the TURTLES!! We have much to learn from NATURE. What a blessed place - your HOME!!!
A lot of turtles will come back to your area. The turtles remember where they gave birth. So they can come back and give birth again. There is a place like this similar to La Union. It's Curma. And they protect the turtles hatching in La Union. Hope you can get in contact with them so they can share their experience to you.
Wow turtles hatching right in front of your property. Amazing how the natural wonder of nature is so alive in Cateel. Power on Kulas and the rest of the boys. Good job.
I love how you basically built a community to be somewhat self sufficient, and you guys live in harmony. Keep up the good work Kulas, and good to see that you are recovering from you surgery.
Good Morning. Love Jandee's cooking. He cooks with Love. You can see. You are healing well. It is so good to see. Positive energies and environment help the healing for sure. Cool tunes. Beautiful drone footage. Wow. So blessed baby sea turtles. Have a great day. Power on.
that happen to me when I was in mexico all of a sudden I look down I seen a lot of sea turtle going towards the ocean. It was so cool thanks for sharing.
It’s BEAUTIFUL! These baby sea turtles life really begins on the beach. Just remember Kulas they will never forget where they came from and your place is now their sanctuary to lay their eggs in the future. Must have been a surreal moment for you all to experience this awesome hatchings. SUPER APIR!😊
Wow Congratulations for the job well done! I still remember when mcgyver saying that there’s a pawikan that came and visited your beach and I that maybe she came to lay her eggs and that’s it they were already hatched. Ang galing galing nyo. You were so lucky you experienced it.👏👏👏👏👏🎊🎉🍾😻👍
I know how hot it is walking in creamsand when i was young haha. That long stretch of beach there will be more of hatching of turtles so take care of them kulas.
Woah turtles… go towards the light!!! I mean water 😆… jandee giving CPR to a dying baby turtle 🤣🤣🤣 but good attempt👍👍👍.. i learned from watching Sir David A. that a lot of them don’t survive even if they make it into the ocean… tough life for them but you all gave them the chance! 🐒
That's so cool! Right in front of you guys' place! I almost cried watching this vlog! I was gonna say, call Finn! He probably knows what to do! And you're right, we need more public education about turtles especially those living along the beach. As influencer Bretman Rock says, "because without Turtles... there wouldn't be anymore Turtles. Periodt." 😂
Wow😍 lucky you guys, the mother turtle 🐢 choose that side of the beach, future tourism, more jobs and businesses😍. Hopefully the baranggay officials and from the BFAR will protect that beach and specially the community. Good job guys 👍👍👍. Thank to this dog found it should be named after him might and more sights of this turtle hatching and become a tourist spot. GO GO CATEEL, DAVAO, more blessings 🇵🇭. Be well, Kyle, you're the BEST👏. Watching from Ontario 🇨🇦 Salamat 🙏
Kulas has a lot of discoveries... everyday. And it is in my country: Philippines. He eats a lot but does not gain weight. This is the guy who will never grow old.
"I'ts not the mongo that causes athritis, it's the beans" Jondy said.. Hahaha... It's called Mongo Beans🤣 You need to cut the mongo beans in half Kulas. Cook the mongo and throw the beans so that Kumar can eat it🤣🤣🤣
If you prepare boiled green mongo to lessen the effect of causing to rise the uric acid in your body after eating. You should cook it with the local spinach called " Alugbati" . Once you eat boiled green mongo with alugbati it won't rise your uric acid coz alugbati help to easy release the uric acid out of your system..
If you dont mind Kumar if you are eating oatmeal it is not good for arthritis too. You know why? Research about Barley Rye, oats, wheat- “brow”these food can be found in beer, snowflakes that are not good for people with arthritis… avoid also rich in purine food and high protein….hehhehe wa ka nah makaon brad! Gulay na lang …avoid lang man not totally eradicated anyway. Apir!
Wow ! Very cute turtlips.!! Missed philippines a lot for almost 15 yrs ! I been grown up also near in the white beach from camarines sur opposite of your place kulas !! Keep safe everyone .l
Good morning Kulas and the gang! You hit all my favorite food kulas, this is wow! Last time it was scrambled egg plus pancit and now, monggo which happens to be my all time favorite too. Seafoods, pakbet, any kinds of fish are on my top favorites too. Monggo or Mung beans or green gram or Vigna radiata is not a major cause of arthritis; may be a slight contribution in triggering arthritis is a factor bacause it belongs to the family of beans/legumes and also taking into account the old belief emanated from the elderlies across the ages that it causes arthritis but, rather think of its health benefits than being negatively attributed to arthritis.. According to some readings and to include also ideas from some medical experts - monggo is rich in protein and it has a nutritional content which is good for the heart, brain and body. Monggo is life so let's eat it!! 😄😄😄Oh before I forget, I like the color and style of your "waway hat"!
Great day, yummy foods, big beach, and huge development in cateel, and there's, a sea turtle 🐢 near yr house, wow, 😋 such a great place to come and visit someday, thanks kulas for sharing. POWER ON!!!
If turtles layed their eggs in your place that means that your area is healthy for marine life. Hope they will not be disturbed by the on going beach development there.
Hi Kulas. I don't know if you can read this, but I posted a comment before on your vlog about marine turtles. That was during the time when you discovered turtle tracks on the beach. I was trying to identify the hatchling held by (Jundee?) by counting the costal scutes on the carapace of the turtle but it was so quick I didn't get a clear picture. But I think there were more than 4, I counted 7 and that is typical of an "Olive Ridley" (Lepidochelys olivacea). In Region 10, records of olive ridley nestings are only in Misamis Occidental. Leatherbacks are known to nest in the northern part of the country (for those who nest in the Philippines)
Baby Sea Turtles called hatchling went on marching one by one, hurrah hurrahs!! 😃 Glad Mike Gyver and Kulas’ team made it on time to save them, hope they’ll thrive in the ocean. They’re absolutely adorable! Thank you all guys! Keep your eyes open for more! DENR on the look out too. 💪🏝😍🤩🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢
Kulas influenced the development of that area in cateel. These blogs seen by capitalist in davao city, mati, tagum and panabo opens the idea beach resorts before kulas and Kumar came here it was a still a barren coastal of beaches.
Indeed!!! They did see the potentials i hope they will protect the environment same as Kulas respecting and protecting them... Godbless you more Kulas @BecomingFilipino and keep safe❤💙💛🤍
Wow, I can see how it can be stressful. Nobody knows what to do, I won’t for sure. What an experience you had there. This could happen again and so turtle education is needed. Yes, Kyle, do write something about it that we can also be educated. Thank you and Power On!
WOW!!! This is Amazing. Congratulations Kulas, McGyver, Kumar, Jundee, Madman, Mama Rose! Keep safe and stay healthy all of you always. Share the care to the nature including the sea turtles. Whoever reads this, may the Lord God in heaven bless you and your family 🙏😇 Pagpalain nawa kayo ng ating Panginoong Diyos 🙏 😇
That was awesome! Loved the way all of you guys were cheering the turtles on. I heard that sea turtles go back to the beach where they were hatched to mate and lay their eggs. So expect to see more of them in the future. Protect the turtles!
That and lots of alcohol consumption with high uric acid. Gout is a disease of the Philippines along with high blood and diabetes in this generation. The elders knew to eat better than today's diet.
Daghana sa baby pawikan idol😁 lamea sa inyohang foods tambal sa rayuma😅 paflex naman sa pareha namong small youtuber idol😁 baka naman😅 Watching all the way from Southern Leyte😁
all legumes are high in purine which cause the gouty arthritis. but mostly its from animal protein thats too high in purine. red meat, internal organs, shell fish, sardinas too, anchovis goodbye happy meal if you have gout
If you have gout the beans affect it or they do me anyway. Great save on the 🐢 Hope to see you guys someday I will be moving to the Cateel area next year with my wife her hometown. And a big Thank you for sharing all you do I have learned alot 😊
Dude the amihan boys protected some at dahican, try asking them about that, your area is a possible sea turtle hatching area, try to ask "amihan sa dahican" in mati, they are protecting them in their area..
PRAISE GOD! Your so blessed boy's. I'm already 74 years of age and have not seen a turtle eggs hatch.Turtles are my favorite. I had one when I was 5 years of old.But it left the pond where I put it. Congratulations Boys.Good job.Jondi start studying about turtle.More to come.
OMG, you just saved baby turtles! Man still can be a caretaker of nature! (You were smart for asking DENR advice, you could have been wrong in handling those babies!) Thanks, Kulas and to your team! I wonder where could the mother be???
