There won't be a cliff, Brady will retire when he choose to the way I see it, there are no more good defenses in the afc just a bunch 1st year's 2nd year guys going up against the pats 😂😂and to make things worst the pats are in the easiest division in the nfl. Tom Brady/ Bill 20 years of experience going up agasint kids yeah that sounds fair. Those good old defenses with the ray lewis, Denver back in 2015 don't exist anymore in the afc. So Brady could sit in the pocket all day throwing 5 yard passes.

Broken King Ben wasn’t great but it was more the gameplay & scheme was trash, receivers couldn’t get open at all and when he did get them the ball they dropped passes. There was like 7 dropped passes. Ben wasn’t as good as he should have been but it’s not all on him, the Steelers collectively got outplayed and out coached badly, and failed to execute crucial plays to stay in the game.

Yep, Steelers had 2 high safety's one little look and they both ran to the opposite side of the field. This is what happens with a bunch of 1st and 2nd year players in your secondary against the best QB to ever play the game. Instead of the Steelers actually trying to run the ball early to keep the Patriots off the field they played right into it and came out gun slinging.

Im looking at this now to see how much the perception of the pats has changed. At the beginning of the year they were by far the favorites to win the super bowl because of their amazing offense and defense. Then they lost 2 of their best receivers and became one of the worst offensive teams in the year. So much can change over a season.
