High output DIY soviet or DDR pedal (with broken frequency resistor knob + high gain) into pedal with slight chorus into low volume amplifier (EQ: low treble, medium bass), new strings, 1 ruble coin with notches as a pick, cheap audacity software reverb (it really does a half of the tone), all of that gives lots of even harmonics - thats what it makes sound like that i guess. Can't say i'm sure about the physic stuff of how it works
