When Kevin lifts Krzysztof off the ground and then slams him hard, they did that scene with cables for both actors' safety. But the fun fact is, Kevin was pissed because he knew he could lift him without the need of cables. So he literally asked Krzysztof to lie on the ground after they already shot the scene and he actually lifted him without the cables just to prove his point, Kevin is a comedy actor but he ain't nothing to fuck with.

If ANY of you follow Rogan. He legitimately praised for the actual physical prominence of the actor. That this wasn't "movie magic". Kevin really did this during rehearsals and is a qualified MMA competitor. He put in WORK and actually TRAINED for this role.

Yeah the part where he lifted the guy with one arm was made with a lift. But before they shot the scene he did that lift without a machine just to show them that he could. He lifted the guy like 3 Times with just pure strength. Kevin James is a beast!

I remember a couple of the other fighters that were in the film saying that Kevin James is such a natural for this kind of thing, that if he wasn't an actor and had actually trained to be a fighter as a career instead he probably would have done very well.

I may be in the minority, but I wish he had lost but gone the distance. Refused to tap out in the armbar and had his arm broken while saying, "I can' quit on them, I can't quit on them." Then his friends congratulate him and he goes to the hospital. He is visited by his student and love interest who console him for doing everything he could and saying how proud they are of him. He still feels like a failure when dressing to leave the hospital. His trainer comes in and turns on the TV, Joe Rogan is going off about how Scott not only inspires his students but Deitrich heard about why he was fighting and donated the winning check to the school. Scott cheers only to realize he still has a broken arm.

Kevin is caveman strong. Not sure if it's true but apparently in training Kevin actually made that last lift without wires just to prove that he could do it. Rogan actually rates his skills too which is a be props to his training for the film.

if u watch kevin closely, everytime he jumps, u can notice that his body fat doesnt wiggle like a normal fat guy. he has definitely worked on his body composition, be heavy and move well in ring.

I may be wrong but how about trying a ghilliotine at 1:02 ? (head was open as hits were focused on the body) or at 4:52 transitioning from pounding to a heel hook? (looked like a good position to crank more with a falling momentum and no immediate defense as the guy was still protecting his face) if someone know better please correct me. I got nothing against the creenwrighters, just curious on how things could have been approached differently.
