*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

When I was a kid 40 years ago. I would start out with a 9 inch Mann's Watermelon worm and I would stop fishing with it when it got to 4 inches. That plastic was so tough I could catch a couple fish before I would have to bit it down cause it started slipping. I wish I was paying more attention then to know how many I would catch on one worm. The had a electric blue fire tail that was a favorite color too.

My dad and I do this with baits once they are ripped and torn up. We made a few molds of swimbaits we like and created basic hand-pour molds. We melt and pour our old and trashed baits into new swimbaits. They aren't always the prettiest, sometimes you get some weird colors coming out but they always seem to catch fish! My dad got a 20lb pike this spring on a brown and greenish colored re-pour!

I enjoyed this video Chris as I enjoy all of them. I used to use a lot of Gamblers years ago when I had my store here in AZ they were a good bait. I use to buy them from a place in Missouri called Preferd Plastics, they had a retail and wholesale. I use to also go through the Bass Pro Shops wholesale at the time, this was early 90s. The problem was that the BASS hadn't started with the West Division yet just federation so I was ahead of the curve boy could I have used all this internet info now cause I had so many sceptics. I use to by the Bass Pro catalogs and put one in every purchase bag, I'm glad I only paid a penny for each catalog lol.

Mann's Jellyworms are the baits of my youth. Just about the only plastic worm I threw before I started shooting my own. Last year, I melted down a bunch of used and beat up Jellyworms I had been collecting over the years and shot 7" paddletail worms with it. Worked just as well as the Jellyworms did. :-)
