She's not wrong, Davonne is too real, and will never win a game like big brother, especially on these new seasons, but you dont have to win to make an impact, and thats something Davonne always does, just entering a room. Her prescence is known and she makes the world better and brighter.

Day made a CHOICE to publically bash David. She could have just not been rude to him. I mean she literally called him an Uncle Tom, that was NOT needed at all and is totally on her. David in the beginning made an effort to distance himself from Da'vonne which hurt her because she felt they were on the same side and fighting to win for the same reasons. I agree that she should apologize but, I hope david explains why he did what he did as well. Praying for peace.
Fact is one six person alliance has been in power of the entire time. So if you weren't in that six person alliance you were going to be evicted. I think it's really sad that this is how big brother works now. One alliance just steamrolls through the other side.
Not only that, but they were all comp beasts. I think they only lost one week of HOH, and they only lost a couple of veto comps. This was just a bad season to only have a good social game.
The fact that the producers haven't put in more curve balls to ensure outside planning or boring alliance formation doesn't set the show up to some predictable outcome is shocking. There are so many powers, twists, pre plan resets, options to ensure that to get power you have to do risky things. My God. The producers are so dumb. Look at survivor, they keep switching it up. You have tribal councils where people start whispering and changing plans in real time. That never happens in BB.

I love Da’Vonne and enjoyed her immensely, each season she played, All Stars included, so entertaining! Absolutely loved the historical eviction speech! However, I believe this season her reads were off, she still shared too much critical information, did a lot of fact-checking and I believe she was wrong about both Tyler & David. Tyler was in the core alliance but still attempted to do what he could to work with Da’Vonne & Bayleigh, as side connections. What he told them about Dani being after them was actually true. Although he arguably misstepped by directly offering to be backdoored to Day & Bay before discussing it with Christmas, his acknowledgement of the girls’ “greater” purpose for staying to play emerged as more of a “heart move” than a “head move”. Regarding David, I do not believe, at all, that David went “out of his way to sabotage” Day’s game. What happened with David can be largely attributed to newbie gameplay, novice vulnerabilities and David’s seemingly earlier preference for seeing people as people. As Da’Vonne believed lies about David, David, too, as this essentially marked his first season playing the game, bought into trickery other players spread about Da’Vonne. I didn’t see any support that David deliberately attempted to sabotage Da’Vonne’s game “throughout”. Instead, in his own quirky way, he seemingly struggled to discover the best approach to winning this season.
It was a very tricky season indeed. She wanted to trust Nicole since they had history, she wanted to trust Dani because they bonded well. Tyler did play both sides which made it hard to see where his mind was, even as a viewer. David didn't seem to have any ill will towards Davonne but, people wanted to seperate the three of them since day one. I hope when they get out, they compare notes and use live feeds to see what really happened. I don't think they have access to outside information yet.

That $5,000 likely bought Nicole an extra measure of trust because Da'Vonne spoke to the camera to let viewers know she was not giving into Nicole's promises to not wrong Day, in the game, during this All Star season. Regarding Dani, they did seem to bond well, despite Dani going after Da'Vonne & Bayleigh, just like Tyler warned. However, Recall, during Da'Vonne's first season, she admitted to being "a HUGE Dani Donato fan" and expressed that it would be a dream-come-true to play Big Brother with Dani. Regarding Tyler, for as much as winning competitions, gaining and securing power, alliances, charisma and various forms of persuasion allowed, every houseguest has been playing multiple says, not just Tyler. Consider what Memphis recently secured via "The Wise Guys" alliance, both 1.0 and 2.0! Day and Bay were also in a "named" alliance that did not include David and Kevin. David was pitted against Da'Vonne and he fell for it! Notwithstanding, the Veteran, Da'Vonne, was later pitted against David, via that hinky vote Nicole and Dani both scapegoated onto David, by lying to Da'Vonne. Sadly, Day decided to "bash" David, because of that in lieu of considering other possibilities for what went wrong.
Well said. I like Day as a person. But this whole season went left. I didn't like when Da told Christmas about Bay going after Tyler. Day trusted the wrong people and therefore ran her mouth that evicted Bay. She will see the replay. The only thing Day should of trusted was that these ppl was playing the game the same way as before.
I disagree with Da'Vonne about Tyler. And I know she doesn't know because she was in the house. Tyler legitimately wanted to leave, especially because it was pre-jury. He didn't want to be evicted and stay for a month and a half in jury. The only reason why he did was because BB production told him he couldn't. They threaten people by forgoing their money (over $40,000) and sue them for hotels, airplane travel, etc. Btw, even if Tyler did leave, it wouldn't have done anything for Da'Vonne or Bayleigh. It would've only stalled the inevitable event by a week that they were going to get voted out. None of them were in the vanilla alliance. We all knew who was going to be targeted: first the legends and then the Blk people. There are two entities at fault here, and Tyler isn't any of them: 1) The vanilla alliance, especially those like Cody, Nicole, Memphis and Danielle, who did a pre-game alliance and attacked everyone's possibility of a fair chance and opportunity. And 2) BB production and casting. Casting chose these people in their original seasons and chose to bring them back. Add to that, BB production could have prevented the one big block alliance of controlling the outcome of the house in multiple ways, either by breaking HGs up (which they've done multiple times in the past) or pairing them up (which they've also done multiple times before) and so on.
Tyler may have wanted to leave, but he exploited their cause -- it was low hanging fruit that he could use for his benefit. I like Tyler, but I think he exploited the "movement" in an attempt to get what he wanted and to look like the good guy doing it.
@@justmemadison The problem is that you think and perceive him of intentionally lying to both of them by exploiting BLM. The problem with this theory is he had nothing to gain by doing this. The guy was safe and staying that week. One of his closest allies, Christmas, was HoH that week and wasn't putting him up. A more believable theory would've been if both Da'Vonne and Bayleigh were going to be evicted to jury and he exploited BLM to gain their jury vote by either saying that he was for the cause or lying to them and saying another HG was talking bad about BLM. That would've been a more realistic and plausible theory that he benefits and gains from (their jury votes). Either way, he was being honest in wanting to go, production told him he couldn't and game-wise, it wouldn't have made a difference. Both Da'Vonne and Bayleigh were going to be on the chopping block anyway because they weren't part of the vanilla block alliance.

I do think he wanted to leave before jury and I think it was convenient for him to tell the girls that he wanted to support their cause in an effort to save face and to look like the good guy. He could have went to Christmas first and asked her to put him up, etc. He could have went to production and said he wanted to leave, but instead he went to the two girls that had no power and gave them his sob story. I’d like to think what Tyler did wasn’t malicious but in bad taste. He seemed to be spiraling and wanted to go home for many reasons but he never said he was going home bcs of BLM like everyone is saying he did. he expressed guilt for not wanting to be there knowing how bad they want it and that they’re representing a bigger cause which they’ve made clear it is a big reason why they came back to play. Why is acknowledging their purpose so terrible? He seems to be the most conscious of it over everyone and wants to work with David. Tyler has been a lot of people blind spots this season. Part of why he was so successful on 20 was because he aligns himself with players people wouldn’t expect like Sam, JC, and Kaycee. Kaysar paired up Tyler so hard with Cody to the point they were forced to work together even tho I think Tyler would of actually been more of a free agent in the game If the opposite side approached him. he realized he couldn’t trust BayDay after they outed him to Dani and they choose to believe her even tho she was lying to them. He was doing damage control by saying it was his fault by getting the girls to target each other to hide his real intentions which was that he was going after Dani hardcore and to not be seen as a traitor to the committee. It is possible that he wanted to pretend or actually sacrifice his game for bayleigh bc he seems to be very worried about the backlash if he betrayed her again since bb20 was very traumatizing for both of them in that fallout. And when Xmas told him that she wanted his head it gave him a good excuse to back out of it and be like hey she betrayed me first so I’m not gonna look like the bad guy.

As much as @CBSBigBrother tries to promote that RACE isn't a factor in who wins the game, UNTIL the racial makeup of the house is reversed, there will NEVER be an African American Winner. This is season highlights this disparity, more than those in the past. The white players dont view the Black players as factors, that's why they are, as the white players say, the "obvious " players to put on the block, even though they have never won a season or the majority of the comps. SO its "obvious " because of the color of their skin. I have been a fan of BB since Season 1, HOWEVER it wasnt until I subscribed to the feeds that I realized how RACIST the players are. The edits and dropped feeds, when the white players are discussing Black players is suspect. Change the racial makeup and let's see how the dynamics of the game CHANGES DRAMATICALLY!
AND yes, this includes when Davonne was bashing David. She wasnt bashing him BECAUSE he was Black! She was bashing him because he had lied about the power and she thought he was lying about the vote. She even stated on the show and in her post eviction interview, that she DID NOT want to bash him because he was Black. AGAIN, this wouldn't have even been a factor if the other 10 players were Black! As uncomfortable as it is, as long as the Black house guests, are outnumbered, there will never be a Black winner - If they start with 12 Blacks and 4 White Houseguests, I GUARANTEE that there would be a Black Winner and the white House guests would not be the "obvious" choice to go the block. Love her. Wish her and Bay could have played together longer. She needs to give up that David sabotaged her game though... as that was NEVER his intent. He came directly to her to fact check info which put Tyler in jeopardy, not her. She on the other hand tried to sabotage his game more than once.
Davonne plays with too much emotion and that is her biggest struggle. A good BB houseguest has to separate personal feelings from the competition. Davonne acts quick with her emotions, rather than thinking about logically thinking about what’s best for her game in the long run.
*I really really really really hope she learns from this season and the next time she DOES play she’ll do better and improve :)* *The last entertaining person is out of that house, welp time to force the producers to make a jury live feeds :D*
Long time BB fan here. BB was a ground breaking social experiment from the start. I've learned a lot about people by watching for so many years. To win, you must be smart, nimble, fit, possess problem solving skills and be physically fit for endurance tests. It's usually helpful to build alliances early in the game. You have to be good at reading people and manipulating people. Then you must be willing to flat out lie and mislead other people at key times. You may also need to betray someone you've made a commitment to. Seems like to perfect platform for championing moral issues and fairness. That said, it is horrible game play to announce to the other participants early in the game and then repeatedly that you won't vote against specific competitors "because they look like you",
You left out the part of the game, where you have to have 12 white players and 4 Blacks. That's not a social experiment, that's a KKKommitte meeting. Call it what it is!
I agree with MOST of what you said, HOWEVER, announcing to the other players that you were going to vote with people that look like you, was something that I would not have done. But DONT think for a second that there is ANOTHER component of the game - RACE! The mayo kkklique may not have said it openly(At least not that was aired. If you watch the EDITED live feed, the DROPS are conveniently done.) They dress it up by saying words like "it's the obvious choice". Why are 5 Blacks who have NEVER won the game and who dont win a bunch of comps, "the obvious choice." I could be wrong, BUT until there are 12 Black houseguests and 4 white houseguests, we will NEVER know if RACE is a factor. And ANYBODY that can watch a show for 22 Seasons, with NO Black winners and the the racial makeup is 12 to 4(or less EVERY season) and dont believe that RACE is a factor, then I'm glad that posted my response, because you needed to hear it.

@Lucinda Miller Comparing MC to BB is apples and oranges. MC winner is determined by The Judges. BB Winner is determined by the houseguests. If you dont get it, you dont want to get it. I AGREE, I WOULD NOT want ANYTHING that I didn't earn. HOWEVER, I want the SAME OPPORTUNITY to win that is given to everyone. Having a majority white cast, IS NOT giving me the same opportunity. Big brother should get more diverse. I’m not talking about 2 blacks, 1 Indian , 1 Asian girl hell no. I want 3 black men and 3 black females and want to see other 2 other set of minorities and you would see a big change in a winner.
@@toyaliens I'm a minority, a latino. The problem is blacks MAKE themselves victims and think they're the only minority. Us Latinos don't cry or complain. Nor do we look for hand outs because or our race. We work, and work hard. Stop thinking things are going to be handed to you because of your color.
jenn peters she basically did the same thing when she called david an uncle tom eff davonne love her but shes a walkin contradiction..hopefully he wins it all and see how much she supports the cause and bigger picture then...she owes him a public apology and shouldnt be so damn quick to judge...disappointed in her she needs to do better

But she would always tell people hey I’m here for the movement and I want you to keep me here because BLM, not because she is making alliances or actually winning anything. Kevin wasn’t going around telling people he should stay solely because he is gay and a minority.

She, however provided the storytelling through her entertaining Diary Room confessionals and gave us more GIFs that will eternally be memorialized. She is like a walking marketing tool for Big Brother because her amazing expressions are all over social media including the iconic exit walk, and the "pretends to be shocked" gif. Big Brother seems a little racist. Production I mean. Why not cast a boy/girl-next-door black person? There are tons out there. Educated, poised, smart and athletic. They always cast the ones who they think will give them the stereotypical behavior, gay or socially weird like David. It's either they're racist or the black version of Cody never auditions.
Huge props to Day. I hope in future casts we get people who are there for a purpose that's bigger than becoming an influencer or selling things on instagram. I get that CBS wants basically a house of attractive people for light entertainment but we've seen for 20+ seasons that the ugliness and biases quickly come out. So why not cast people who are smarter and better than that? Bayleigh, Da'Vonne, Kevin and David are proof you can have attractive people who are charismatic and entertaining, but not shallow and biased.
Oh & don’t scratch Dani off your next to the jury list you’d like to see. She was just as responsible for the Ian vote as Nicole. She planted the seed to Nic and encouraged her to continue their lie. They both had a hand in the deception and are equally responsible.
Davonne and Bayleigh hating on Tyler and David for stupid reasons is the worst. Tyler was trying so hard to work with Bayleigh and Davonne when the rest of the house formed The Committee and they still trash talked him even though he was a great ally to have. They really thought they were doing something. Tyler had that convo with Xmas about going home and Xmas decided HERSELF to NOT use the veto and came up with some bs excuse like "If he wants to go home he can do it on his own terms" ... bs. Xmas herself just didn't want to send Tyler home over Davonne or Bayleigh. And even though David is possibly one of the most frustrating BB players on this season to watch, Davonne made him public enemy number 1 to the rest of the house. How did she believe NICOLE over David? David, the WORST LIAR in the house whenever he lies, against a SEASONED (literally 2 seasons) LIAR. That's insane. Even if Nicole was telling the truth, the way that Davonne was so quick to deem David a liar was absolutely ridiculous. If she was really rooting for a black person to be up on that wall, WHY would she do everything to make him the bad guy without even hearing him out and taking a step back at the people she was dealing with ... she hurt her own cause and his. But I also get it because David is so f*cking frustrating to deal with lol. And then they cannibalized themselves at the hands of Dani and Nicole, who were part of the all-white alliance. Unfortunately all of their (Davonne and Bayleigh's) TRUE allies sucked aside from Janelle and Tyler. Their only TRUE allies were David, Janelle, Nicole A, Kaysar, and Tyler. Ian would throw them under the bus without hesitation if it came down to it and would be manipulated by Nicole, and Kevin goes wherever the wind blows him lol so I never really thought they were true allies. The only other player that comes as close to David's horrible game is Kevin lol. IDK how they made it so far. Kevin is the only person that is more frustrating to watch than David. I pity him a lot because he never knows what's going on, sucks at comps, and has horrible social.
