What you people have done to deer and to deer hunting is awful, just awful. These animals should not be farmed. They're struggling to hold their heads up for your sick pleasure. And then you saw their antlers so you can hold them and sell them. I don't even buy hunting magazines anymore because I don't know what's real. No. This is wrong!

I understand the purpose behind deer farms and the business it brings. However, im really not one for making test tube animals. These deer are amazing deer but they just aren't natural. Im an avid hunter and personally these deer do nothing for me. Would I like to shoot one? No. I wouldnt. Why? Again, because they just aren't natural. Id rather shoot a 140"-145" 8, 150"-160" 10, or a 170"-180" 12 with split brow tines, kickers off his g2 or split g2s. Those are deer you can find in nature, especially North American Whitetails up in Alberta or Saskatchewan. These deer that are basically hand made on deer farms just aren't natural animals. Theres more to deer than huge uncomfortable and often times weird looking racks on their heads. Idk, it just my opinion. Some things in nature should be left alone to breed on their own and deer are one of them in my opinion. Whats the point of force breeding these deer other than MONEY and ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Again, this is just my opinion and im sure many guys out there are going to disagree with me or say im crazy but like I said, as an avid hunter I'd rather shoot a NATURAL deer that won't even measure up to these deer over a test tube deer any day. Again guys, just my opinion!

This isn’t real hunting , because their deer are bred to be big on farms and their are in high fenced pens, real hunting is when your sitting in the middle of the forest with no fences looking for a big buck that’s wild to shoot .this is disgusting , I honestly don’t get why people purposely hunt on high fenced property , it’s not the same, and you know your going to get a good rack because that’s what you paid for .

I find the deer farming industry interesting and it’s probably useful for research, but I’m wondering what the average high fence hunter does with his 450” “trophy”. Hang it on the wall next to some wild animals and pretend it took the same effort to kill? We raise a few pigs every year, maybe I should charge people to come shoot them for me so they can call themselves hunters.

They grow crazy freak racks by being domesticated, no stress from being hunted. The stress increases cortisol which i'm sure stops the growth in their rack, just like humans temporarily stop growing hair/nails when cortisol is in the body from stress

I’m a deer hunter myself and I don’t agree with this at all, these are being used for the money, not to mention how much the racks weigh. God put them on this earth to be wild and to sometimes have a 200+in rack, if God wanted them this big he would naturally do it. Not to mention you guys can’t even grow a typical buck they are all non typical.

This has nothing to do for the average hunter- rich people create a rich mans game out of everything- hunting is no different. It’s all about pride and boastfulness - just shows you that you can sink money into anything And people will buy it! Take the rupee’s that “hunt” for these deer into the woods and they wouldn’t have a clue - what to do or where to go!!

I guess I'm a lot greener than I thought when it comes to hunting. I could never afford a lease let alone a trophy hunt but I figured it would be ok if someone who would never see a buck close to this in their region that has the funds and wants a rack to go with the meat they harvest to pay for a hunt. Guys can spend a lifetime in the woods taking 4-6 year old deer for the meat and hunting ethically but as soon as they pay for a rack with the meat they are trash? And if deer stay to an area why couldn't someone with thousands of acres buy one of these bucks for brood stock? Even some of you guys talking mess right now feed protien and corn year round to deer you've watched grow up so what's that difference?

I find it funny how the law prohibits the average citizen to own any deer unless you’re harvesting it in season. But somehow these guys found a way around this law and profit off it. And attach its business to the prevention of cwd. I’d bet my right arm whitetail sales and it’s cronies has some “friends” office that has provided this loophole so the law don’t apply to them. Tell me, how do you farm wild animals and they still be classified wild? Can I farm wild catfish? FYI, providing big antler deer to high fence ranchers so that the rich can shoot them on crazy priced hunts isn’t “FAIR CHASE”! And then promote products to the average hunter who hunts free ranging deer, having them think that they will get the same result, is pathetic and morally unsettling. Sorry pal, but I’m woke. Now, I’ll shut up and hunt the right way.

Like it or not this is the best way to save nature. When you make hunting profitable enough we are encouraged to keep a species alive. I hope for the day we breed whales and sharks in big water habitats for hunting. Scuba diving to kill sharks! Now, that's Hunting!.

Wolf 150. I don't know what kind of guns you're talking about but my all time favorite rifle is the original Browning A-bolt 308. It's incredibly accurate and flat shooting. I am in woods county so shots are short.
