@suresh kumar k: Sir this show is like daily soap drama. Each and every bill is done as per KERC rule. The pf penalty he is talking about is strictly according to Indian Electricity act. If they are correct let them file PIL. Any Escom would be ready to answer it. I am an employee of GESCOM. I was also very happy to see how these fellows helped people to overcome their problems during this pandemic. But now I come to know understanding electricity billing is not their cup of tea.

@nandini rao: playing with people's emotions. He is using people's anger to rise TRP of his channel. OMG!! These anchors don't even know a b c of billing. I must admire their confidence. Belive me, billing is perfectly correct and strictly abide KERC rules and Indian Electricity Act. Moreover Escom has taken stand along its consumer during this corona pandemic. No disconnection until june, reduced penalty for non payment of bill and increased loyalty rebate.

387 units for 2 months unbelievable. Highest slab charged for 2nd month bill though I had paid first month bill for 130 units which amounts to 892 rs. Bescom should not have considered 2 months units for calculating current month bill (which is nothing but exploitation ) I think Bescom does not have supporting software to calculate average units per month. Finally common people pay the price for irrational decision of this govt .

@Md Ali: Meter is in your house. It will record 6 months unit consumption. If you have doubt you can cross verify it. If you don't know how to check meter reading you have take photos values scrolling in meter and ask your area keb staff to explain you. I am 100% sure that your bill will correct.

Understanding bill is very easy. If you are genuinely want to understand bills, I can help or you can take assistance from any Escom staff of your area. You need to accept the fact that consumption is more during lockdown and hence bills.

I was expecting discount in utility charges due to the COVID-19 scenario. On the other hand, the concerned authorities have let the citizens down by collecting 2 to 3 times more charges for electricity consumption.

@Mohamed Asgar: Sir I would like share you few information which these hypocrite person did not share. Staring from the point that no escom has overcharged their consumer( bills are damn correct), here are few things you need to know 1. No disconnection until June 30 if you don't pay bills 2. Interest rates are reduced 50% for arrears 3. Loyalty rebate is given if any consumer pays bill in advance ( i.e within 15 days after your billing date) These news guys has misguided people and using their anger to rise their TRP. If you have any problem with your electricity bill, I am happy to help you to understand.
