Same story every year. "BIG CHANGES" and all we get is a new contract option and dumb UI changes lol

The Frostbite Engine is the problem. we need a new engine. The game is literally broken and multiple patches won’t fix it

They need new announcers and game presentation and redone animation and game logic and redone play books gear and bring back legend teams, bring back create a team and a redone franchise mode so an entire new game from scratch

My problem with Madden is we always gotta wait for next year for small features and we get teased for months.

ea can’t even give 50% of the nfl players in the game a face scan but they’re gunna make our voices go into the game oooooookay

Add create a team, allow for league expansion up to 40 teams, and make sure that you can actually move players from College Football into Madden. There have been glitches in the past where generic players showed up by mistake.

Would be great if you could use these legends outside of MUT. They have this giant roster of legends that are online in MUT. Put them in a legends roster and be able to use them in Franchise.

Yes, they need different sports commentators for various games and distinct Super Bowl celebrations. Including ESPN, the NFL Network, CBS, or Fox Sports would enhance the overall experience. Moreover, a Thanksgiving game tribute to Pat Summerall and John Madden could be incorporated by gathering old commentaries, blending them, and creating a unique commentary spot exclusively for the Thanksgiving game.

I would love a save feature to keep my settings and tuners constant when create a new franchises. Also a new start franchise 'time' @the NFL draft like how the old Head Coach games started.

I think navigating through the menus in franchise mode got slower somehow. It’s terrible

Ray realism is everything, that being said the broadcast needs to be more closely related to the game, when the announcers show the playoff's they should remain on the screen long enough to see it. Also payoff commentators should be talking about playoff games. Finally the aerial should show more of the local city and last a few seconds longer.

Revamp the relocation teams uniforms or bringing back Create A Team ...

I wish they would focus on atmosphere and immersion. I enjoyed the game play its self during games but after a season I get bored because it feels empty.

This game still isn't close. It has weird difficulty problems. And no I don't mean its too hard. I mean its 1) too easy and 2) the way in which they make the cpu harder at higher difficulties is not realistic. Making a 79ovr DT shed a 94ovr RG just bc its on All Madden isn't the way to make it harder. I wish the cpu QBs just had better ai, threw the ball down the field and windows to throw in were tighter etc. I also think abilities are awful. Some are overpowered. Especially DTs when they have double or nothing, instant rebate, pass commit. Also I feel like DBs at times warp into getting picks, knockouts when a receiver has the right positioning. I wish it was still just ratings and no abilities at all. But using just ratings does not create enough separation between a 99ovr and a 88ovr. Team building by the cpu is still absolute garbage. They don't try. I've been in a 2 user league - mostly just very casual. The CPU just gets destroyed in team building and it makes it so me and my friend that play the game are in the Super Bowl every year. There is little challenge. EA's goal should be to make a game that is challenging yet remains fun to play and doesn't use gimmicks to make a higher difficulty level.

They need to tighten up on the defensive features. Bring back secondary matchup. Meaning: putting the best CB on the best WR/TE

I actually like the direction madden 24 has gone I’m not a online gamer like that so the game is fine to me they can add so more off the field stuff like announcers halftime etc

Create a team comeback would be much appreciated. I remember fooling around with that stuff in my early days and spent HOURS on design alone.

I really enjoyed the story aspects of Madden 20's QB1/Face of The Franchise aspect with the sprinkle of college games, interacting with a fan, the combine, draft, etc. It added a nice spin to it all, kind of refreshing. Introducing a full season of college games (e.g. the player's final season) with a select few teams would be pretty cool, and would serve pretty well as an advertisement for the NCAA game.

Love the channel, but all I hear about is Superstar mode and Ultimate Team. When is Franchise Mode going to get the attention it deserves? It's the only mode I care about.

Crazy thing is , Madden says this and that . The game comes out, by week 3 they change everything back to Madden ‘21. For instance, they made it skill based for Madden 24. Today is basically Madden 21 all over again. They cater to non football gamers. Any QB can roll out and get 7 yards or more.

The equipment bug been present since August. I hope it’s a fix for it next title update.

For me, create a team is a feature that HAS to come back soon. Maybe not for 25, but a full redesign of Franchise Mode is needed

We need a mode just for playoffs, like 2k, where you can just do a playoff simulation instead of playing franchise

I think there are three major features Madden is missing. First, better presentation in general (more announcers, pre-game, half-time, and post-game shows). Franchise could use an expansion option. allowed for new teams to be added (with a team creator like NBA 2k currently has). Last, I agree with their current push on Superstar mode. I agree that putting a huge focus on overall improving the mode is needed. More immersion and systems surrounding the mode (Again, NBA 2k has great examples to build off of). These focuses could greatly improve Madden. Of course this would just be the frontheaders. More work is needed in many other places. Animations have been needing work for years, AI is awful like normal, and Franchise mode is in general a buggy mess. It will never be fixed but here's to hope!

Editing players is a complete inconvenience now. Try to edit a players face mask. Imposssible

There been a bug since near launch me and multiple friends have suffered from that prevents us from opening the invites menu so we can’t make any new franchise leagues together because we can’t join each other. Hope that gets fixed too

Those small bugs are due to the game code being so old they keep adding new code to nearly 7/8 year old code unless the OG devs are still there. Same thing has happened with the Division 2 games old devs aren’t there new devs break something every time they add a patch

Idk about anyone else’s but my madden has been hella buggy this year to the point where it’s just not fun to play it anymore. I’m really debating not getting next years regardless of whatever they say is gonna change bc they hyped this year’s up like crazy and it’s just as bad as 23

Can someone please tell me why in franchise mode every time i get to the playoffs almost all my starters disappear.when i check my depth chart it says my starters are in fact starting but on the field every position have a back up except my qb.

I need them to remove that auto run detection after running the same play 3 times because they can’t even get faked with a throw play. Then we need the other time to jump when using R1 not just my team

I continuously play this game simply because it is the only option. If 2k or San Diego studios or any other legit company made an nfl game I would play that in a heart beat. Praying that the nfl doesn’t renew ea to keep it as the “exclusive” nfl simulation video game and hopefully 2k gets another chance Bcz 2k5 is a better game than anything ea has ever made. Sadly though, I think you’re right and that 2k doesn’t care anymore and has moved on. But you never know

Ngl I would love if they let you be able to be able to play any position in superstar mode like offensive linemen. Like they did back in like madden 12

It would be nice if they added the ability to watch all playoff games, especially the Super Bowl. As it is right now, you play your team's games but if they don't make the playoffs those games are simmed and all you have are the results. In other words, if your team doesn't make the playoffs, you don't get to watch any playoff games.

A cool feature for the playoffs would be to have not just the Lombardi Trophy but also the afc and nfc championship trophies

I hear everything you are saying, but my main thing is that are going to fix the problem when on defense your ai doesn't play how they are supposed to play, if you get what I'm saying

Something small that I really want to see changed is hair coming out the back of helmets when you make your own player. Whether it’s very long hair or even just flowing hair it should come out the back. It’s a small thing but this game needs some attention to detail

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where in franchise mode, that once the playoff start, for all WRs, TEs, RBS, and defensive plays, your 4th ot 5th stringers are in? I have tried re-ordering my depth chart every which way, and I can not get my starters to come back in. Its really frustrating that it hasn't been fixed yet. It takes the fun of going on a deep playoff run completely out of the game.

Dude nothing is gonna change, they cant even put the Titans white pants in the game let alone anything new to the game. It always the same, well put new stuff in, and nothing ever changes.

I really hope we get the ability to customize fields / unis at some point. Even if it's limited to a team's existing logos/colors, it would still be cool to customize the feel with a different midfield logo or Amazon colors/pattern. Most teams have multiple fields now, so being able to choose which field you want should also be an option. These don't seem like they're huge changes but they would go a long way

I guess we just have to wait and see

I want Madden to add past teams for head-to-head matches like 85 bears, 72 Dolphins and whatever kinda like how NBA has all time teams, and bring back old Madden Ultimate Team rosters and games from Madden 13 to 18. I miss the older MUT games.

I dont remember what game had it but I want the ability to determine what mode the franchise (i.e. rebuilding, or challenging for championship) but in the previous game this determined how the other franchises traded with you. Rebuilding would generate more draft picks and less players and challenging would more players in trades.

2:36 I respectfully disagree. If 2K Sports officially makes NFL 2K25. 2K Sports will run EA Sports out of business. Just like NBA 2K did with the NBA Live series. Imagine a My Career Mode in NFL 2K25. It may be even better than the basketball version.

Still waiting for Madden to be a true simulation football game. I'm talking having ESPN, NBC, Fox, and NFL Network represented in Madden. I want all the real announcers from Troy aikman and Joe buck to Tony Romo and al Michaels. Give us post game stats and post game interviews and recaps just like real life. Give us weekly wrap-ups and have skip Bayless, Kay Adams, and Joy Taylor giving us commentary on the games. I want a true to life NFL simulation. Madden is no where close.

I play Madden almost everyday. I find a lot of things fun about it, but there are a lot of issues too. But the reason I enjoy playing it outweighs why not to, to me. Just a fellow Madden gamers thoughts.

They need fix the fatigue part in franchise mode soon you get to week 14 or 15 everyone is red fatigue starting game off sometimes starters not even starting

They used to have face scan in NCAA. I still have my face on the 14 game for my road to glory character. No reason why they can’t bring it back.
