It's sad not to hear all of the duck and geese sounds. We are so used to it on the homestead, I don't know if I could adjust to not hearing it. ♥

Love the dump trailer set up. Smart for you and your wife to downsize the animals as life changes. It sounds like your kids are doing great and that's the best we can hope for. It all looks good. Flexibility is key, as always.

I understand about cutting back on expenses. My husband is mostly retired since last fall. We have no retirement. Maybe we'll be selling this place to find something small and affordable in Prospect to be nearer our girls in Bend. Regards from far north California

Wow, Prospect is right up the road from my farm. There is a great little lake across HWY 62 from Prospect for fishing.
